The part that is hard to interpret here is whether Flemeth actually succeeded in giving that essence of god-hood onto Morrigan.
I guess it's impossible to know , since the whole thing comes from dev notes in the first place , everything could change at one point.
But there's a good chance of Morrigan coming back in the future.
Afterall she's the one reading the epilogue in DAI , and her story is far from over.
With OGB :she wonders what will happen to Kieran.
If she drank from the well , she's bound to Mythal's soul.
If none of the above , she still meet Flemeth , and doesn't get many answers .
At the end , she wonders what Flemythal is planning for her, and she says "well crap I didn't know much about her afterall."
1) The Well of Sorrows - creates a Geas, wherein person who drank from it is under Mythal's control. But is it considered at all the "essence of godhood"? If so, this means either Inquisitor or Morrigan has it. - Is Morrigan or Inquisitor now under the Geas of Solas? Or what???
I think the well is just a geas with bonus knowledge , but you only get what Mythal wants you to know.
I doubt Solas has Mythal 's soul , I think all the sadness was about destroying her.(I guess he wanted her power and not her soul )
If she truly dies , the geas should be over.
If Flemeth send a piece of Mythal to Morrigan and she's under the spell, possible Morrigan will have a hard time resisting Mythal. If the Inquisitor drank , in this case he /she will be bound to Morrigan .
2) Epilogue - Flemeth is clearly seen "pouring" some kind of soul-thing into the Eluvian. Where is it going? What is it exactly?
2a) It could be the spark of Mythal. Or *part* of the spark.
2b) It could be the spark of Flemeth (who has survived centuries, so clearly it is special because of mixing with Mythal somehow).
2c) It could depend on whether OGB existed. Flemeth presumably has at least these three "essences"/"sparks" in some playthroughs, and the epilogue only sort of addresses two (at least one to Solas, at least one to Eluvian).
I think , to keep on with the speculation , Flemeth did sacrifice herself , and part of Mythal to empower Solas. What she could save (without him noticing) she send to Morrigan.
Now the soul of Urthemiel is ...a WTH moment. In game , it makes no difference.
Possible the soul got destroyed when Flemythal was killed.
3) It's not entirely clear where epilogue takes place. LadyInsanity showed that the assets are the same as the Crossroads, but there's no reason to assume it's actually there - notable absence of mist, etc. So, it's also sort of unclear where that spark/essence is going.
4) How does this thing she is pouring into the Eluvian get to wherever it's going? Is Morrigan actually waiting on the other side? Does it matter? Is Mythal's wisp flying around Thedas now looking for a new host? Or is Flemeth, now that Mythal is in Solas?
It could be the Crossroad , if I remember correctly in the Masked Empire , the Crossroads reacts to elves. So maybe two elven Gods gave colors to the place^^.
About the piece she send , Mythal has a slave , Morrigan or the Inquisitor. They have to do what she wants.I guess she will send one to get the package at one point.
5) BOOM. I KNEW Flemeth was not being had. She plans for the inevitable. I hope Flemeth / Kate Mulgrew come back!!! Worst case, the Flemeth we know is gone, but she still succeeded in furthering her own plans. I don't even care if those plans are somehow evil. She is one of the best characters in a game ever. (Somewhat like Kreia in KOTOR2)
Yeah Flemeth is a badass grandma of Doom.I don't think she's 100% evil .She can be harsh and tends to manipulate events but the lady grants boons.
So far she saved the warden, saved Hawke and saved the Inquisitor .Without her no info about defeating Cory and no dragon to help .
