What is the difference between important angry, sarcastic or diplomatic Hawke?
I imported an angry Hawke... but after we met she must have found inner piece in the meantime...

The difference?
Not a lot. ![]()
Just some sentences he/she says...
I liked aggressive Hawke more than diplomatic Hawke! I haven't met sarcastic Hawke yet
Sarcastic Hawke in the fade made me chuckle a few times...admittedly sarcastic Hawke's the only Hawke I've imported so it could have been something Hawke says no matter what.
I've had all three--how they react to.... man, how do I say this without spoilers?....
Their lines are different when they meet your Inquisitor. How they react to... certain events.... in mid-story, also changes with the character. However, they do not also change depending on circumstance--like, for example, if they're romancing Anders [a warden], or not, and have a sibling that's a warden, or not, they still react to the wardens in the exact same way, with the strength of that reaction dependent on sarcasm, diplomatic or aggressive, not on those relationships. Sarcasm seems to be the most... aggressive... of the 3 in this instance but it all amounts to the same thing in the end. Same goes for Hawke's views on blood mages and their standing relationship with Merrill or Anders. et cetera.
Also, if you make a certain choice and it's Hawke, they say something different when they... something... depending on which you choose.

I totally don't understand. It's okay, though... Hawke was diplomatic on my only playthrough and that's how I remember him from my canon run as a warrior.
Hehe, my alternative was... something something then they something'd.
tl;dr: there is a difference, but the differences are flavour, only, and some of them are actually internally inconsistent.
But we expect internal inconsistencies from Bioware, so all's well. ![]()
