I would love another Durlag's Tower. Still my favorite dungeon ever. Loved the atmosphere, and the sense of mysteries and claustrophobia, and the backstory full of horrifying paranoia. They did some good dungeons in games after that, but that was still their best. IMO, the DA series has never really had a great dungeon.

Temple of Dirthamen and cradle of sulevin i kilt them in less than 15 minutes I want Dungeons with rare items and maybe some Mystical secrets not just a couple of Runes I want to Explore for Hours like in Dragons Dogma or the Deep Roads from Dragon age origions.
The way dungeons are designed visually is awesome, I love how dark they are, how we fire up the lights on the walls in order to see, but yes they are too small. Or maybe they're fine, but I'd just like to explore some huge dungeons also. Revisiting the deep roads with this new visual style? Count me in! ![]()

The open world maps in this game feel like bloody dungeons to me. It's like DAO deep roads got even bigger but with bridge colours instead.

Dirthamen was truly truly disappointing... all that lead up, no unique dialogue, and poof! Despair demon with extra HP.
Worst boss in dragon age history, bar none.
Like, I'm not using the word disappointed loosely, I was truly bummed out. And oh, search for 7 runes on the walls for 30 minutes. What fun!

I loved the deep roads.
Massive area, the broodmother boss, Caradin, the darkspawn, the spiders... it was well done. And the vast majority of those quests included unique companion dialogue and dialogue in the city. No "power +2, quest complete" crap.

I miss that too. The closest I get to the feel of the Deep Roads/Orzammar is when I go to Valammar.
Ugh, Valamarr was a bummer. I thought I was going to go INTO the deep roads, not just revisit the map and close a door.

It's funny how that portion is so divisive. The thought of having to go through the Deep Roads again is probably the number one reason I still only have 2 playthroughs of Origins. Just the thought of that slog turns me off the game. I found it to be long and monotonous and visually bland. When I first played it, after a few area transitions it was like "And the next one is my destination?" But nope, just some more tunnels.
It was no Durlag's Tower.

other than that I'd be in favour of a Deep roads DLC with the new engine. Lock the party in, no potion refills - escape or fail.
