Sera, the single most annoying video game character I have ever encountered. Can't stand her, everything about that character repulses me.

The comment above mine pretty much sums it up. But in the end is all a matter of opinion. Everyone has a companions they like and companions they hate.

If you want funny and pure goofiness, go Sera. Pair her with Solas or Iron Bull and you get a lot of awesome banter. Pair Viv with anyone but Cassandra - they get along so well! - and you'll probably get something interesting out of it, esp. Cole.

Yeah I don't understand them either, nor do I care to. They are simply hateful little sh**s, who think that people having different opinions or making different decisions in this game somehow invalidates their own. Sorry if I touched a nerve, but just like you are free to like a character I'm free to not like them, no need for a flame war
