Did anyone else get a kick out of this guy? He was channeling some serious Inigo Montoya or something along those lines. Which is freaking awesome. He's like Zevran, only not so annoyingly try-hard.
awww yeah, just look at that all swag.

So, I wonder if Josephine still gets engaged to him if you don't romance her.

I'm sure she does, she only raises a fuss about it if you do romance her because she's now emotionally involved with someone. She says if she wasn't in a relationship with our Inquisitor, she would be amenable to the arrangement but because she's involved she wants out of it.
Otranto is great. I wanted to ask him if we could go grab a drink some time. He seems like fun.
Nothing to do with "the Castle of Otranto" then?

An early gothic novel...
I'd like to see more of him in the future. It'd be great if he ended up as a playable character or romance option in DLC/DA4. Hopefully he'd be bisexual too so everybody could enjoy him.

NOPE. Apparently, judging by how she reacts to the whole thing, I think it's safe to say no.
You can bet these two become bros after this though.

Man, thats a even better scene.
I have never seen him before this thread. I guess I better break out my male characters and romance Josie.

I think on a playthrough where the Inquisitor doesn't romance Josephine, she ends up marrying Otranto. She has dialogue in the lead up to the duel where she says she would have been open to the arrangement if she wasn't already involved with someone else. The Inquisitor is the only reason she's trying to get out of the arrangement.
I was told by someone who helped work on Josephine's character that if she is not in a romance with the Inquisitor she gets married to him some time after the events of the game.

I haven't seen that yet, it's probably because I usually romance Josephine and wasn't pay attention on my romance-Cassandra play-through. >.>
Yeah, he was pretty cool. I like Josie and I like romancing her, but I think this guy is pretty cool. And since he cannot die, he would make an excellent party member if the game went up north.
Or, if he's not the party member, let him be the Trainer for the new duelist class.

It'll be funny if it turns out he's not that good of a duelist ![]()

Yeah, he barely even made an effort to be obnoxious…

This actually cracked me up.
