 Hi,

Since I wish to connect to my Cerberus Network (I have got the Collector's Edition) and it seems to me that I need to associate these two accounts, may I know how I can do it?  Is it from BioWare?  I tried running through my account setting and cannot find this option.

Also, my EA account has "disappeared".  My email address is not in their record anymore.  This is strange as I have used that account earlier this month to purchase the Pinnacle Station (Mass Effect downloaded content).  I still have the order statement address to my email address.

In my case, how then can I associate my BioWare account to my EA account?

Cheers.

What has you convinced they're two different things?

Good question.  They were, for sure.  As I needed to log into the EA Store website to purcahse.  There is a EA Download Manager as well.  And I have a EA promo code (10% next game), now I don't know where it has gone to.

If these two are not different things, why then would the developer here asks us to associate them into one?  And a recent blog enter by one of the fans on how he spent an hour linking them?  I am just confused.  Sorry.

You account here is backed by an EA account that uses the same email address you used to sign up here. As long as there is no content associated with the other EA Account don't worry about it. Just use the same email and password as you signed up here with to login.

It is a more compliated procedure on the XBox 360 as you need to make sure the gamertag is linked in.

You can see the email this site has for you on the Edit Profile Page

To verify the existence of the EA account behind it you can log in at https://profile.ea.com/myinfo.do with that email and your password here.  You can also change the email associated with the combined Bioware/EA Account at that site.

AFAIK they are different if you have the 360, on the PC I used the same e-mail for everything and didn't need to merge anything with DA:O. The only separate Bio account that you might have is if you had the older games like NWN which uses a different online "account" system, though I didn't have much problems integrating one with the other and they aren't needed to play ME2

EDIT: ANd by "integrating" I meant mostly setting them up so they are the same on both services, not connecting them in any way, old Bio (Pre EA-Merger I would imagine) games use a separate system.

Thank you all for your inputs.

My EA account exists quite a while ago, Spore. And I think I must have registered quite a few EA games online as well (like NWN) and not quite sure where they have gone to.

Anyway, the EA webmaster has got back to me. Apparently, my EA account only works in global EA site and not my local EA site (?!). According to my local EA site, my account does not exist, even though I thought I bought Pinnacle Station in my local EA site (in local currency).

I suspect the linkage between the accounts are now up (since now I can connect to Cerberus Network). Thanks again.
