If you keep grasping at that straw it's going to break.
God forbid women should have nipples. Next they'll want them to have vaginas too. The only thing unnatural about this pic is the varren in the background.
Or the frying pan.

I loved jack from ME2 i found her new attire to be a sign of her acceptance by and of society, she now cares enough to want to be in fashion. No different to mirandas (awful) red dress (and the same reaasoning they were two separate sides of the same coin). I found the whole "Jack finally becomes a big girl" thing to be more of a problem than her top.
Yah, I think I would'a preferred much more Sera in Jack. I don't mean the playful nature of her, I mean the, "^$%$# society... I'm gonna do what I want." Of course, she and Sera had very different circumstances. One found a family, the other found apathy.
The banshees do!
It is kind of odd that the only nudity in the game falls into the body horror category.
Meanwhile Ashley sleeps in her bra and Fem Shep & Traynor enjoy clothed showers. Not that nudity is a necessity mind you...but it is kind of funny how it was covered up in scenes where nudity would have looked more natural than the characters being clothed, but was on full horrifying display with the monster trying to murder you.
Jacob and Thane have similar "cheap" outfits on, what about their competence? Or is this just Miranda's well endowed boobs and ass (that her outfit is showing off) that's causing you to feel that way?
His arse or bollocks never took up a lot of the screen during conservation wheel pauses though
Are you nuts?
The whole ME universe is based on "unnecessary cleavage and impracticalities".
I mean, srsly, it ain't gonna ME without that.
So where's the unnecessary cleavage and impracticalities with squadmates combat outfits in Mass Effect 1?
Boobsplates: check
Shape emphasizing patterning: check
Only HALF a visor: check
Did you ever even play ME 1?
Conclusion: Aesthetics were a leading factor over practicality in ME 1 already. That doesn't make the games any less immersive. For people to complain about it, simply means they fail at immersion THEMSELVES. Harry Potter is no less immersive than a SciFi movie. And neither is the least bit realistic anyhow. Immersion has nothing to do with realism.
I knew it was just a matter of time for people to start pulling Godwins using other examples than nazies.
I actually find Bioware games becoming slightly more mellow eversince they were taken over by EA. Graphics quality went up, but the games lost some of their provoking edge.
Nope, I played most Bioware games within a week after release since Baldur's Gate, Just Shattered took a bit longer, and I never really got into NWN. Maybe if they hadn't picked such a fairytale-ish name at the time, I would've picked it up. As for the Elder Scrolls: I quit playing those after Morrowind, since it became very apparent Bethesda had no interest in ever returning to the game depth of Daggerfall. Sorry kid, but I don't see what you're trying to suggest either way. All I notice is you trolling around these forums to turn Mass Effect into a poor HALO ripoff. I'd be playing HALO if that interested me. Maybe you should, it fits perfectly to your requirements.
The character on the left in both pictures wouldn't have dreamed of going into battle in her casual on-ship uniform.
"You wouldn't catch me dead in light armour, you can't outrun bullets"
"I'm real, I wear armour into battle, not swim wear"
Sorry to butt in but I cannot see how the depiction attractive women or showing of female skin is alienating to female players. In these same games, there are usually attractive and physically perfect male characters. There are even male characters that are specifically stated to be handsome or hunky, especially in modern day games. If these attractive male depictions do not alienate me from a game, why should attractive female depictions alienate females from a game.
Now if you were talking about true unashamed female objectification, then I'd agree that a female gamer (male as well) would probably take issue.
I don't recall the camera focusing on any of those male characters arses, I don't recall any of the male characters having their genitalia visible through their clothing, I don't recall any male character being retconned from practical armour wearing soldier to someone who goes into battle in their on ship uniform and battle heels

The wrecking ball reference was a joke, clearly.. why else would anyone reference that "artist"?
The whole point with Jack in ME3 for me boils down to: More over the top than a teacher with hard nipples/no bra? I am beginning to think the people opposed to characters behaving logically in combat (and teaching etc) are just afraid we will take away their boobs.
Your boobs would stay if it were up to me, they are not the problem, the setting/locale is. Just like the NRA and their completely unfounded fear of the scary black man in the white house taking away their guns when he has said (so many times it is clearly wearisome) that he will not touch their 2nd amendment rights.
*sigh*

Yeah I believe I can recall the camera actually stopping on her butt, waiting for me to choose a dialogue option..
