I don't think so either. The Kundalini is depicted as being two serpents and I wouldn't call that negative.

They probably appear there because they're related to dragons, and the dragon is the heraldic symbol of the Imperium. In real-world mythologies, serpents appear, among other things, as symbols of fertility, wisdom or deception. So there's a very broad range of interpretation.

I would disagree that anything makes the templar path worth playing. She's interesting, to be sure, but DAI already has other Tevinter reformers in it, and I'm sure that that general template will be followed up with more characters in the next game. She specifically isn't wholly necessary.

But there's STILL the issue of children and the heir. It's somewhat irresponsible for Dorian not to have children as he is th e heir apparent of the House. Frankly, given the attitudes in Thedas and Tevinter specifically, waht exactly is stopping Dorian from having a marriage of convenicence and having a male companion....

That would be terrible. You'd be removing what essentially makes Tevinter Tevinter because it bothers your real life ideology. I think Dragon Age as an IP is becoming too safe. Using Tevinter as the back drop of some flat footed homily would be the final straw to break the camel's back. I don't want to end slavery indentured or otherwise. I don't want to end the blood rituals. I don't even want to try. Maybe I want to revel in these things. Or maybe I just don't care about them and want to crush the Qunari or conquer the rest of Thedas. Slavery and ritualistic sacrifice are symptoms of Tevinter's imperfect culture. I want to experience them not be the plucky hero that ends 2,000 years of cultural conditioning so that my ego gets stroked.
I don't know. A slave rebellion story sounds like it could be very interesting. I can't recall Bioware ever doing such a story before. Or at least one that you experience in the game and not read about in the Codex of said game.
Hmmm, I noticed mention of a Dorian-Calpernia team up back in Tevinter. If Dorian ends up staying in Southern Thedas with the Inquisition, I would love to see a Mae-Calpernia team up.
