You may want to get the daomodmanager from Nexus. Install it, open it, then you can drag 'n drop the dazip file of the mod you want installed to the clearly marked area.

No muss, no fuss.

Install the 'core' dazip (it says REQUIRED in the file description) with either the native daupdater utility, or as mousestalker suggested, use DAO-Modmanager... the latter is a tested and very reliable tool that also uninstalls mods as well as installing them.

The 'core' component is all you need if you just want the armours. You will, however, have to use the developer console to obtain them, unless you want to wait until nearly the end of the game, at which point you will have access to a chest that holds some (but not all) of the items.

If you want automagic delivery or NPCs to be equipped with the gear or the option to purchase things from a vendor, you'll also need the other archive... I think it's called the 'Main file' or something like that... in that folder are scripts for spawn and UTCs that equip various characters and files that add the items to the stock of at least one merchant. Extract the files from the archive. Read the ReadMe. Manually install the options you want to your override folder. And be  careful to only install ONE of the main folders inside that archive,as they will conflict with one another (one is for a 'normal' install, the other is for an install that also includes the Improved Atmosphere mod.).

When you're installing cosmetic mods there has to be only one chargenmorphcfg file in your override folder. Most cosmetic mods comes with their own chargenmorphcfg files and you need this useful tool to combine all into a single file.

As for the Grey Wardens of Ferelden mod, theskymoves did an excellent job at explaining how to install the mod, but if you still can't get the armors then perhaps you don't have the console enabled?
