As casey hudson said the mass effect universe is vast! But he also left out awesome!
Although Mass Effect 1-3 ended controversially (I was one of the haters) I'd like to request that the First three mass effects be retitled, "Mass Effect: The Shepard Trilogy" Saying that it was an individual story, just as 343 industries has titled halo 4-6 as the "Reclaimer Trilogy". This may also help, subconscieously, others who disliked the ending of three and perhaps make it easier to accept the new story within the mass effect universe. A way of.... Moving on. This idea could also allow bioware to create one generic story line within the universe as well as individually titled "Character Stories" hinting that each Character story will be self contained but also add something to the universe as a whole.
I think this is an excellent idea and hope that Bioware sees it and considers it.
