Changing Platforms..

Does anyone know if gold, promotions, inventory, challenges for banners, etc. start over from scratch?
And sorry if this is a question already answered; the 'search' didn't return anything that touched on changing platforms just that there was no cross platform play.

Since it runs on the Origin account, I would assume stuff carries over.
But we all know what they say about assumptions.

You start over. Each platform has its own separate gold, promotions, inventory, challenges, etc. I've got accounts on both 360 & Xbone and they are completely separate.

bummer, got friends now on both platforms and would be nice to not have to grind a decent manifest and promotions. alas, it is what it is.

Thats a shame. I have family who got PS4s each for christmas, but have been on their other consoles. Waste of getting them PS4's if you ask me..Cant see them upgrading their dragon age now.
Waste of getting PS4's because dragon age data doesn't carry over? You realize very shortly they will stop making old and new gen console games and only focus on PS4 and XBOX 1.

Off on a tangent.....
My existing TV (46" led) has been giving me problems for a while now. I decide it's time to upgrade so I buy a new 55" from the same company. Nice picture, nice upgrade....except. For some reason they have one less HDMI port and one less set of audio ports. I can no longer hook up both my xbox one and my 360 up to the tv. Grrrrrrr.

Sorry, my post does sound daft..
In context, their house is falling down around them, one guy hasnt had a job in six years and isnt really looking and his hard working, struggling mum spent money from a tax rebate on getting them a ps4 bundle each instead of fixing her house. After asking for it, he hasnt played it yet.
THAT is a waste. I love my brother in law, but good god he needs a kick up the arse..

Get a HDMI switcher.http://www.amazon.co...r/dp/B001DAHS5Q
I hear ya Beerfish. The reason I bought my Samsung 42" LCD was it had 4 HDMI ports. I see a lot of mfgs, even Samsung on low-mid models sporting only 2x HDMI. I guess they are not thinking of gamers who have (perhaps) cable box, pc/laptop, console or two (I have a x360 and XB1).
Thanks for the tip Kill Streak!
I see Startech has a 2port model. Mixed reviews on it though...
