Bronze solos if I'm using a shotgun or a pistol (weapon amps for these categories are too precious lol).

I used to use it when I was low on shotgun amps, before I learned Space Magic. Now they just take dust.

Only if I have no useful Amps left (Plat), or all the time (anything Non-Plat). I'd take the stable DPS increase of a weapon amp that doesn't care where you hit the enemy - over bonuses based on head-hitbox collisions only - any day of the week.

I normally stack the level 3's with vulnerability VI gear on certain, comparatively weaker but accurate weapons so that I don't waste precious level 3 amps. the Mantis ,Phaeston and GPR are good examples of weapons that I frequently use them on.

They are also great on almost any AR or SR against geth, for example, because there are no double hits to exploit and all units are easy to headshot. All that said, I think the damage bonus should be larger. The existence of double hits combined with the already pitiful headshot multipliers vs boss units also makes them a less attractive option on platinum, for example.

On accurate weapons/weapons that already have headshot bonuses.  I have no idea if they stack in the case of the latter, but I've always worked off the assumption that they do.

Oh, and also whenever I'm low on certain weapon amps, or I'm carrying two good weapons and want a bonus that will benefit both of them (which is rare, but happens).

I honestly don't know if I've ever used one...

I guess its possible I used one on a bronze/silver solo for Solo Mastery once or twice, but not that I can specifically remember.

255 Targeting VI and I have 257 Strength Enhancer, I have no idea how.

You can break the 255 limit while you're in the store, but it resets to 255 either as soon as you exit the store or as soon as you quit the game, can't recall.

Headshot bonus is a multiplicative one, so it stacks multiplicatively with the targeting VI consumables/gear, which are additive bonuses. So yeah, you're getting more mileage out of that bonus if your gun has a higher than normal headshot bonus. Not sure it's worth it, but still...

Basically only for Eagle or Suppressor with Cranial Trauma.  Otherwise it is not so great, unless you are absolutely out of the appropriate amp.

And when you want to get carried, but have to equip gear to not be so obvious.

Only on low difficulties, or if I am low on rail amps for the gun I'm using.  They are useless against bosses if I remember correctly.

I used it on Valkyrie (the gun) /GPR etc, to kill mooks faster, only on Gold though.

When I'm out of the weapon amps for what I'm using, and stabilization module isn't applicable, and targeting VI is.  Of course, since most of my favorite weapons either one-shot anything with a headshot anyways (ARC, Javelin, Wraith, Crusader, Kishock...), or can't get headshots (Acolyte), they pretty much only get used on four weapons - Eagle, Hurricane, CSR, CSMG.

I hate explosive ammo; if I have 1 of it, that's too many.

Rarely, only when I'm out of AR amps I use it with the PPR or Valkyrie.

I used it on my AIU for some shotgun to the head action.

Brought down folks like Scions/Praetorians quite effectively.
