Yes, I agree to get the benefit it's very game-play dependent. I think after thousands of games one can learn the enemy movements so targeting the head becomes a reflex. 98% should be 100%. Personally, I try not to fire unless the head is targeted unless one shot anywhere else will finish the target but even then, I prefer to make it a head shot. It's more satisfying to explode a head and at least for me one of my primary goals is to always get a 20 head medal as early as possible.
I definitively find its the best choice in solo's where one can more or less ensure a head-shot target. Just speaking for myself of course, but I see it as an primary element of mastery of this game just as it is with most any shooter.
Well, let's make it clear that I respect the fact that you have your opinion, and even more the fact that you're willing to discuss it in a civil way. But I, myself, do not agree with said opinion, and here's why.
What you are saying is, for the most part, agreeable and quite apparent to everyone here, I think.
However, when you say "100%", I can guarantee you, that you do not know what 100% means, or that you have forgotten it for the time required to write that post.
Even *if* you try to make each and every one of your shots a headshot, the chances that you finish a solo with a percentage of 100% is, probably, of the same order of magnitude of the chance that a meteor strikes you down while you're playing that game. That is, so unlikely that it can easily be considered impossible.
But, what's even more important maybe, is the fact that if you try to make each of your shots a headshot, you are *not* maximizing your killing effectiveness. On the contrary, you're taking a toll from it, and quite a huge one. To make every shot a headshot with a certainty even close to 100%, you need either an aimbot, or you need to avoid taking some shots, when you're not sure you can get a headshot. And, honestly, in this game, that's a fair fraction of the total shots you take, if you're trying to push yourself and your killing speed to the limits. If you *don't* take them because there's a reasonable chance that you're gonna miss the headshot, then you're not using every chance you have to kill, and therefore you're killing slower - even if your headshot percentage is close to 100%.
