Anyway, there really isn't enough content for minor characters to be of much interest to me after the first playthrough. If I feel inclined I'll speak to them occasionally. So OP I don't necessarily blame you for feeling that way. I see potential in some of the characters (if they're not dead) I don't think his character is 'forced' (didn't feel that way) but I can't say he's particularly interesting.

I'm largely indifferent. The character isn't terrible though it does grow grating when people latch onto a gay, bisexual, lesbian or transgender character only to make it seem like they're the best/worst thing ever when they have such a minor role. Tastes differ but I just don't buy it - out of every character in the game I find it bizarre that some people think Krem is the best when there's so many other characters with much more depth and time in the spotlight.

Yeah it's not even really his character that felt forced, it was bits and pieces of clunky dialogue( yes I know it's optional, I mean forced as in forced Into the conversation). Plus at times it felt like I was getting preached too rather than having an actual conversation, especially since the inquistor acts so dumb about it.
Idk it's just my opinion

I found Krem "potentially" interesting but felt the writers never let him get there, which isn't surprising, considering his small role, and how most of the characters of DAI suffer from the renewed emphasis on gameplay over characterization.
I definitely found him to be more interesting than Iron Bull, and definitely would have preferred to romance him over the "cliche bed-hopping bisexual" Bull. That's something you don't see in fiction every day: a bisexual trans man.
Getting away from his gender identity or sexuality (which is never discussed) though, his back story is, again, potentially interesting, since he seems like a "regular guy" from Tevinter, not a drop of magic in him. Granted his gender identity and the problems this caused him in his gender-conscious society took top billing when he talked about his past, but at least it was an insight into Tevinter culture that DIDN'T involve magisters.

I think he's either straight or bi/pansexual. Possibly a- or demisexual if BW wants to introduce more sexualities.
EDIT: I have heard that he had crush on tavern waitress in the game but I couldn't find confirmation.

Personally I hope he's bi and then he can be a LI in DA4 ![]()

When is Krem teased about a crush? I've never heard it.
As for sexuality, most likely either bisexual or pansexual. He could be heterosexual, but that could be confusing for some since if heterosexual then he is homosexual in the biological sense, not that it matters if it is confusing or not since Krem isn't available to the Inquisitor. Definitely not asexual or demisexual since Bioware has only recently thought about putting in asexual characters and not demisexual since Bioware's stance on it is unknown.

I have seen it talked in tumblr and forums but haven't seen scene. Hmm, can't find it, now I wonder if I have mistaken it cause I can't find confirmation now : /
I guess I have to edit that now since it might be just popular headcanon.
Yep, most likely he'd be bisexual though since he refused to be married to noble man maybe that could mean that he's straight. Though he might not want to be taken as woman in the relationship which is quite likely as well.
Well Bioware had first pansexual character in this game and first transgender character as well. So maybe in the future they might have asexual or demisexual as well although right now it doesn't seem they are that intrested.

Well, if you find it be sure to post it. I'm sure the Krem fans would enjoy it.
His refusal to be married is more I think just him not wanting to be treated as a woman for the rest of his life rather than his sexual orientation conflicting with it.
Hopefully. Like I said, Bioware has said they may look into writing an asexual character at the GaymerX convention this year.

Those aren't fake, so nothing to worry about.

Until someone makes ass man a sexuality, it's fake.
Every preference does not require a sexuality to make people feel like speshul snowflakes.

So does being an ass man. If they exist within hetero, ******, and bi, we don't need the category.

That's the thing. They aren't merely preferences. Unless you consider all sexualities as preferences.

Even if someone was able to be sexually attracted to anyone, so long as they had an emotional attachment... that'd just make them bisexual with a preference to sex filled with strong emotions.

There is a preference like that, yes. Just like there are bisexuals who prefer one gender over the other.
But just like how heterosexuals can only be attracted to the opposite sex, there are people who can only be attracted to people after a strong bond forms. There is no preference involved in that.
But we should get this back on topic.
