I'm just going to repeat what I said above tbh.

You can call it whatcha want. I'm sticking to fake.

That's fine. People said the same about every other orientation as well.

That's not a type of sexuality though

Yes it is.

But again, this is offtopic. Anything else about Krem you want to talk about, thread creator?

I don't understand why everyone is so eager to slap a label on themselves that there is a demand for increasingly specific labels as time goes on.

I'm a "I'll-sleep-with-my-friend-johnnysexual." But definitely not a "I'll-sleep-with-my-coworker-Bill-sexual." That'd just be wierd.

\facepalm

Oh Krem is lame. Plus I got my fair share of abuse already.

Id like to hear the explanation as to why it's a sexuality

I sure hope they don't start introducing fake sexualities.

Who are we kidding, it's Bioware. They're probably looking to invent new cutting edge sexualities for DA4.

Actually it would be done the way Iron Bull and arguably Merrill was done

Hmm interesting.. But inconclusive.

We will just have to disagree. That's fine.

I don't think a lot of people care if Iron Bull considers himself Bisexual, pansexual, retrosexual or spiritsexual. I don't think Bull cares. I think it comes down to >Are they willing to have sex with me? >Do they cause feelings in my loins? >Lets do it!

I'd much rather jump into the Lets do it! section of the flow chart then spending a whole lot of time dwelling on the sexualities that got me there. It's a game, not a labelmaker. There's a lot more to a character then that.

If Krem was a LI that you could flirt with, then I'd care if he was into sausage or tacos. But he's not, so what he wants to do is his own thing. His gender role and how he got to that stage is an interesting story, but that shouldn't be the primary focus of his character, because then it just leads to a dull character without much going on for it.

Krem is one of Bull's chargers, and as a group they got some pretty awesome stories and dynamics between them. Krem plays his part in this merry band of miss-fits quite well, and that's all that matters to me.

This is the type of characterization Bioware should be focusing on. Not...whether or not someone might be attracted to a person but only if their inner spirit wolf's fur color is brown and they like to scratch their right ass cheek on the night of a full moon or not, otherwise we can only be friends because my sexuality label has more restrictions than the Qun ever did. :|

This is actually an interesting explanation. From my limited understanding, I usually think of demisexuality as an orientation that rests somewhere along the asexual-sexual spectrum, much like how bisexuality is on the homosexual-heterosexual spectrum.

And due to its seemingly complex orientation, I think it would be difficult to portray Krem, a minor character, as a demisexual person. If Bioware is going for demisexuality representation, I would like to see it on a major character.

I am fine with Krem having no established orientation. He is not romanceable anyway (though some people have an interesting way to deal with this problem).

I'll remember this when DatAZZexual is a thing. You better say that same **** too, lol.

I want my orientation represented in Bioware too. There's a severe lack of bare ass shots from Cass and I WONT STAND FOR THIS OPPRESSION!

quite curious as to what dialogue you guys have heard that i haven't that would give any indication of what Krem's sexual preference may be. Cause i talk to him regularly and i have heard nothing that even gives me a small clue.

I called it.

In fact, IIRC, the last thread discussing Krem ended up getting locked for the same reasons.

The only thing that I've heard was alluded to earlier in the thread.  Someone said that they heard banter that Krem had a crush on a tavern girl.  So, if true, he'd be straight, bi, or pan, I guess.  However, no one has actually been able to provide proof of this, so I'm leaning towards this being rumor and not fact at this point.

No one is mocking anybody. That's a bit of an excessive accusation actually.

Yep.  I guess me and the eight other people who liked or replied to the post that you responded to in the last hour and half were just imagining things, huh?

Look, people can openly mock people on the forums if they find ways to do it that don't break board rules.  But then they should also nut up and own it when called out.  Also, note that I wasn't referring to you, unless you were openly mocking people.

Indeed. How does one "mock" what doesn't exist.

It was about the marriage, not the sexuality. That said, I like Dorian's quest. It was handled well and didn't seem cliche to me even if the subject matter was.

One of Aveline's very first dialogues after getting married is about f**king her new husband.

Or you could be wrong?what did I say, please Dave enlighten me. Because I am clearly ignorant on the whole thing. I disagreed with someone.. But back to your point. Yes imagining things is quite possible.
