Could somebody please explain fair use...I want to try and create a lego mass effect using 3d animation tools...but I just don't know whether I will held accountable for copyright violation(I mean I will using the music,sound effects and voice files from the game itself).If someone knows please let me know.Thanks
Fair use falls under 3 categories. Criticism, Parody, and Research/Reporting.
US copyright law allows the above as long as its non profit not used for other gain and it should fall under one of the categories.
That is my understanding.
