Today after opened 74 large chests of crap I realized that I have opened more than 1000 large chests in total. And then I look at my pathetic inventory, the only high lvl purple one handed weapon is song of the marshes, and the only high lvl purple two handed weapon is starfang. In addition, no pyre of the forgotten, no purple HOK ring, no purple ring of attack, only one purple crit chance ring.

 

You say I haven't opened enough large chests? How much more chests do you want me to open?

 

Take me as an example if you are planning to invest a **** ton of time into the game trying to get a complete manifest, you may end up being very lucky, or you may end up being worse than me. DA mp store system is working at its best right here.

I don't care what anyone says.  Prestige effects your drop rate.  We have had good luck with the RTC this week and I've played quite a bit.  My prestige is getting high and I'm getting purps like candy.  Sure most of the suck and even more are Superior Fire Runes, but I'm getting them a lot.

 

I still don't have a heal on kill ring aside from 1 white common one.......

 

RNG is absolute garbage and I wish they did away with it, but I have most all of the really good purple weapons....I am only missing 1 or 2.

I've gotten uniques from small, medium, and large chests.  The DA MP RNG doesn't work the same way as ME3 MP's RNG, so try opening more chests in general.

Unlock as many armor sets as you can through manual crafting then buy chests. Don't ask why, just do it.

Can't comment on the specific numbers, but I do hope schematics and perhaps even some unique items get added as guaranteed drops from weekend events. ME3MP managed to soften its notoriously punishing UR grind in this way (N7 weapon, consumable capacity upgrades).

And I'm sure that after more than 1000 chests (over 1.2million gold) the OP has got plenty of prestige.

I haven't got any of those:  you should be grateful for your Song of Marshes and Starfang.

 

The only best purple's in a class i have are bows (Punched by Maker, Griffin) and Shields (Shield of the Emperor) - but i play very little of either rogues or 1-handed warriors...

Well,as I said I my thread,I played over 500 hours of MP,collected almost 1 million gold(926K to be correct),have rather decent prestige and still miss many high end items in particular:Sulevin,Caliban,top daggers,Griffon bow and many others.

 

So in short,RNG is biatchh.

I have over 500 prestige, and I can easily spend 200k (and have, recently) and get next to nothing useful (occasional superb rune, rare accessory I didn't have). I've gotten to the point where written auto-hotkey scripts to make purchasing and salvaging automatic. Most of it is white common gear. Some blue useless gear. Occasional useless purple. Extremely rare useful purple item.

 

It is all RNG and luck.

 

Starfang is an excellent 2H. Song of the Marshes is an awesome 1H. I don't have it. It sucks to not have HoK, but you can craft HoK weapon upgrades out of cotton if you really need it. I don't have any superb Crit chance rings, I don't have the ultimate daggers, superb stamina, etc. Do you know just how GOOD crit chance rings are for warriors? It can be amazing.

 

Non-maxed manifest, but still having fun here though. Everyone here is right. Be grateful for what you get. . . and take advantage of it. It may be better to be lucky than good, but you need to be good to make use of luck.

Because i've gotten far better loot overall from medium chests in comparison to large ones.

lol, I have nothing. I feel you, OP. Except for some purple spirit resistance and healing belt, I am surviving on mostly common and few rare weapons. Do not let it upset you. As long as you have fun, the rest will come (well...hopefully...maybe)

RNG is a messed up thing. I've earned about 700k in total now, but my inventory has been pretty much the same since 250k, considering I got most of my high level Uniques early on.

I got most of my decent drop on my first week of playing MP, before even switching to threatening or hitting 20. I'm not talking about some superb lv20 purples or blues here, of course. It's <=15 something, but that was a huge improvement over the common gear, and some of them I had used long enough\still use.

Many of those were actually from level treasury chests.

 

Surprisingly, I had the items for the classes I was interested in (blue\purple daggers, staves, t2 robe for the Keeper, blue bow for my archer, hunter unlock). But that was before, now I mostly get all kinds of 2handers, axes and and shields, which I do not need. RNGod got bored with me, I guess.
