What's Fixed and Broken on the v <1.04 > console patch

Platform: Xbox 360

 

Currently testing...

 

Fixed

- Assassin mantle's (Dawn) now displays the correct armor in inventory (59). Haven't tested if the armor actually protects.

- Was unable to duplicate key glitch on Xbox 360

- Was unable to duplicate RTC glitch on Xbox 360

- Was unable to duplicate key glitch on Xbox One (SJ)

- Was unable to duplicate RTC glitch on Xbox One (SJ)

- Pots appear to be working (Confirmed Xbox 360, Xbox One)

- New face models

 

Broken

- Katari still takes same front/rear armor damage.

- Reaver appears to still take the same front/rear damage.

- Rampage is still bugged.

- Invincible Giant still occurs.

 

Reported:

- 1 player reported getting "No dialogue, Never loaded" problem.

- I had have pot vanish in 27 games (see comment below). Better odds than 15 in every 1 games.

- One player seemed to be able to duplicate a lag-related issue with Dragon-Rage not landing correctly. An issue I came across in a game.

- Alchemist requires more attempts to break pots with basic attacks than other kits.

Game 1: Host, Katari, Routine, Venatori - Pugger having trouble loading. No issue.

Game 2: Host, Katari, Routine, Demon - Random pugger appears to have trouble loading from start (killed open connections). Second pugger having trouble logging on. Xbox froze mid-game.

Game 3: Off-host, Katari, Routine, Demon - No issue.

Game 4: Off-host, Katari, Routine, Venatari - Puggers skipping free chest rooms because they are blind. Note: Change ? marks to R, W, M on HUD.

Note to not-so-noobie player: Stop using Dragon-Rage when you lag. Makes it look bad when Lvl1 Katari outscores a Lvl20 Reaver. Possible off-host bug/issue with DR and lag. Duplicate same problem in a game 3 days ago.

Game 20: Off-host, Katari, Threatening, Demon(?) -  Dropped in on Zone 5 Completion (easy win).

Game 21: Off-host, Katari, Threatening, Demon - No issues.

Game 22: Off-host, Katari, Threatening, Demon - No issues.

Isnt bear mauls to the wolves supposed to eliminate flank damage bonuses for enemies?  Might that be causing the same damage front/rear?

the previous issue with Katari and Reaver wasn't that they were taking the same amount of damage from the front and rear it was that they were taking more damage in the front and less from flanking.

 

If you took Bear Mauls the Wolves and the damage is the same then it would be working properly at this point.  If not, then there may be a new bug.

If you took Bear Mauls the Wolves and the damage is the same then it would be working properly at this point. 

 

I thought it was Adamant causing the problem?  And then front damage was really flank damage.

 

You do want all damage to be the same with Bear Mauls the Wolves:  but it should all be front damage, with all reductions, on any angle.

It was adamant causing the damage issue.  It was causing flanking damage to do less than front damage.  I am still not sure whether or not it actually switched the front/flanking damage values or if it just added way too much armor to your rear guard.  At that time, even with Bear Mauls the Wolves, you would still end up with varying damage values.  They should be the same if you have taken that passive.

On Threatening it looks to be slightly weaker.

I'm not seeing the dramatic nerf that some have described.

I need to pay more attention in a few games.

 

I find it a little hard to tell as I was kind of getting the hang of dealing with it,

so other views would help.

When you say all pots open does that mean that they are not just breaking but then rematerializing or is it easier to actually break them now?  Do you still have to flounder around endlessly with melee characters to actually break them?

 

(The results sound very promising so far as far as the fixes go.)

I have seen zero pots re-materialise.

I'm not sure how much easier they are to open than before because my hitting technique is pretty good now.

Thanks for reporting. Key bug was pretty much keeping me off the MP. Hopefully it has been completely eradicated.

If you got the same patch level as on PC, it should be gone. Note that sometimes their fix means mobs will spawn behind you, so if you get to the door and it doesn't open, move back a bit and mobs will spawn.

Rampage is healing on basic attacks, but not on Dragon Rage.  Rage just doesn't cost any health, now.

Didn't get a chance to test out Strength of Spirits though.

I noticed this once.

The Elementalists were really going for it.

Momentarily we wondered why the key had not dropped yet, then two Deepstalkers tried to bite us in the ass...

 

When was it released?

 

I downloaded it on Xbox One at around 10.00am GMT / 2.00am PST.

I'm going to miss the zombie pots, in a strange way. Definitely won't miss the key glitch, I might start hosting by choice now.

 

Edit: I am filled with a strange emotion that my 1000th post contains the phrase "Zombie Pot". I think it might be shame.

Truly disappointing. I loved how strong and over the top DC was. Panic duration may have been a little too much, but to reduce the damage of its most infamous attack that much? :/
