I'm going to miss the zombie pots, in a strange way.

 

It was hilarious to see someone standing over a pot futilely auto-attacking it over and over. It was also hilarious to see which massively powerful abilities people would pull out to deal with the pots. My favorite: Mighty Blow. Nothing says 'f--k you, pot!' like smashing the entire ground around the pot into rubble.

 

Edit: I am filled with a strange emotion that my 1000th post contains the phrase "Zombie Pot".

 

Is that a new variety of MJ and if so where can I get some?

Thanks everyone for the confirmation of fixes on consoles. 

Great to hear!

 

It's good.

The thing I notice particularly is that with the pots fix, it doesn't hitch you up anymore when playing, you effortlessly move forward without the 'oh, that one didn't try again...' it adds flow to the mission.

And feeling confident in running with an Elementalist and pumping that Firestorm is wonderful...

Sweet, thanks for all the info on the patch working/not working. I might actually feel inclined to play some mp tonight on my trashbox one if no one wants to raid in Destiny! See yall there! :D

I played about a dozen on the Xbox One. I find that I die a lot more now with the update---probably due to the lack of key glItch allowing me to actually get to the later waves :)

Positives that I saw:
0 key problems despite playing a few with an elementalist who spammed the dreaded ability.
only 1 rematerializing pot
Pots somewhat easier to break--still struggled with my alchemist to break pots, though the usual number of attempts dropped from like 6 to a slightly less humiliating 3. Was definitely easier with the reaver and Templar.
Not a single store problem (pre-patch I had store connection issues nearly 33% of the time)

Rampage bugged 5 times in a row. Then miraculously worked on the boss fight, even with Dragon Rage. Very unreliable.

Invincible Giant bug still an issue. Just got it on PS4 x2 times in a row (host left and the rest tried to complete). I guess the Key Bug lives on -_ -

Can anyone comment on the Red Templar round 5 incomplete where the match doesn't end even after the map is cleared? Is it still happening on the Ps3?

Female characters look better, finally!

 

I'm glad they fixed it, but in a weird way I feel like the older faces were the real faces. Now my Keeper and Necromancer look better, but I feel like they are distant third cousins of the real Keeper and Necro we were so used to playing with. :lol:

Rampage is an issue according to TheDayBreaker.

Immortal giants are as well according to Ultros.

 

I got bogged down with work but I will, for sure, check it all out tomorrow.

PC players reported that several armors got new skins/colors. Can you provide me with a list of those armors so I that I can update the MP EQ sheet?

Did any one ... PS4 do any testing? I haven't seen any results or problems reported.

 

I've been trying to get the Plat for Driveclub sorry...  :unsure: had a few games of DAMP PS4.

 

Fixed:  

Assassin's Mantle (Dawn) - shows 59 armour now.

Pots seem to always break now, even staff pew-pew from range.

 

Off-host, Elementalist, Threatening, Venatori - No issues.

Off-host, Elementalist, Threatening, Demons - CTD.  Zone 5, DC pops up first time -> kicked to Playstation Dynamic Menu.

Restart DAI, from main menu multiplayer option selected = spinning "connecting to servers", quit to Driveclub.

 

Off-host, Elementalist, Threatening, Venatori - immortal enemy, but they disappeared a little later.  One zone we cleared all enemies, door didn't unlock... then it unlocked maybe 5 seconds later.  Game was laggy in general.

Off-host, Elementalist, Threatening, Venatori - No issues.

Off-host, Katari, Threatening, Demons - No issues.

Rampage is healing on basic attacks, but not on Dragon Rage.  Rage just doesn't cost any health, now.

Didn't get a chance to test out Strength of Spirits though.

 

 

played with 2 AW in through promotions last night, both confirmed that their barrier fill is fine with Strength of spirits rather than noticeably being harder to fill.

 

had no key bugs at all with elementalists in the room.

 

noticed my templar's armour colour changed. I was using the red colour rope/binding top tier inquisition one. The ropes are now blue, which I prefer thankfully.

 

DC is definitely weaker, my hunter in the level 7-15 range on perilous could tank the dive attack for 1/3 - 1/2 health rather than being one-shotted (rubberbanding screwed up my jump dodges) my templar was 1/4-1/3 health lost.

 

pots seemed fine but I was in teams that were skipping most rooms and pots.

 

i'm on PS4 btw.

So far... The Patch fixes seem to be working as intended. Although, last night my group experienced a lot of crashes (mostly on Level 5). Out of ten matches, we had four crashes. Is this something that others have encountered since release of 1.04? I think the PC players experienced this as well on release of their patch.

- Used Elementalist / Firestorm / other fire powers to deliberately kill last enemies of wave. Keys did drop. Yay!

- Occasionally new enemies would spawn behind the end stage of the zone, which I believe is part of the keydrop fix.

- Repeatedly bashed the Red Templar Commander while he was in his death animation, and game behaved properly. However I only tested this once.

- Did get one freeze/crash when we left the Heirloom objective to complete until all enemies were dead. From memory I think this doing that objective after all enemies are dead frequently crashes the game, but more testing is needed.

Key glitches may be reduced, but I'm getting substantially more issues when joining matches.  Either not making it in at all, or everyone but the host being unable to act once the match starts.

Inquisition armors for Templar and Legionnare look straight beast mode now.

Necro inquisition armor still looks like she pooped in her diaper pants, but hey she got a new face at least.

Reaver inquisition armor is hot. You can see her face now.

I'll post more updates after work as I finish unlocking everything else. DAT CLOTH

I have yet to encounter a single bug. Red Templar commander has died every game, furthermore no more Key bugs, invincible pots etc. I am a happy Panda.

oh actually two odd things yesterday:

 

1)I kept being logged out of psn when I tried to join a private group invitation outside of my region. I'm in UK and the group was US based. never let me join even after resetting my ps4 and network connection. just took a long time at the mp start screen frozen before telling me I wasn't logged in. I could join one EU party I was invited too though.

 

not sure if that was a one off or region lock is somehow glitchy with psn in regards to private groups now. wasn't a US based person I've played with before so I'm not sure if they just had some nat type issue (happens with some US players in other games) I'll see if it happens with my usual US based invites.

 

2) heirloom/weapon cache/scrolls capture events. sometimes the event health bar wouldn't pop up and it appear to not get damaged but it could still be captured for gold. not that it is necessarily a bad thing. had one time where we missed the heirloom for more than long enough for it to be destroyed and I just happened to notice it after we where backtracking from getting a chest. don't think it announced it either.

After several matches last night in PS4, in Europe:

 

- Vases break much more often, only came across one of them that took two hits to break

- Vases much easier to target with daggers and sword

- DC is weaker, but not too much, I like the new balance. It can still insta-kill if caught unawares. 

 

My biggest problem unsolved:

- Still continue to see the annoying "you have lost your connection to the session , even though I did apply all the recommendations of opening ports from BWR. I was hoping this could be fixed in the first patch..

- Class imbalances, covered extensively in this post

Game 1, all fine.

Game 2, dogs bugged into walls, host migration.

Games 3/4/5/6/7/8, Maps 3 & 5 bugged out and no mobs could be seen...switched rooms every game and happened everytime.

Game 9,  Rubber banding/lagging like a mofo...host migrations/quit the rooms.

Game 10, still haven't gained 1 Prestige level after 7 days of working at it...

 

So back to Shadows of Mordor until they fix this BS!

My game just keeps crashing now, was hoping this is would be fixed with the patch but I guess not :/ This is the only game I have stability problems with.
