Played several games yesterday, didn't really run accross any noticeable bugs or glitches. However, I am getting way more crashes to xbone dashboard than usual. Luckily, it's mostly been when joining a lobby or game, or at the final score for completion screen. Think it only actually dropped me from a game once.

May not be totally related but I have a question:

I don't think I noticed a new patch being downloaded (this is for xbox one).  However, I can still play and join games fine.  Does this mean I did get the patch (and just didn't notice it)?   (Is it possible for players to play on different patch versions?)

I'd drop to dashboard while the game is running, press start on it's window, and go to quit. Start it up again, and it will download the patch if you do not have it already.

Restart you console after doing install. Kill anything running on your network, especially if it's bandwidth intensive on uploads.

I was able to lag 5 games by doing YT uploads in the middle of the game (sorry guys, my bad). The first 2 times were by accident. The last 3 times were me tweaking the bandwidth for the upload/download. You should be able to browse, stream movie/music and stuff like that. Just make sure you aren't running anything that's hoarding your upstream. *cough*seeding*cough*p2p*cough**cough*

I've talked to at least 2 players that had to contact their ISPs to have their connection looked at. So it's best to run a network speed test as well to make sure your connection is running correctly. I may have to go try out some other games I own and duplicate this upload thing to see if it's consistent or just DAMP using more resources than it's supposed to.

PS4 user - didn't get much time to play last night, wanted to play an assassin more since i pulled 2 wicked graces out of the last 10 chests (brag).

Session 1:  Played ~6 minutes, then crashed to desktop (okok crash to main ps4 screen). (skipped submitting bug report..)

restarted game

Session 2: Joined a game, while it was attempting to start into the game session itself, crashed to desktop again! ( submitted bug report + video).

TRY 3.. Started my single player game, crashed at the first cut scene!! SUBMITTED BUG REPORT + Video.

pretty dejected at this point,

TRY 4. Started back the single player game, skipped that dang cut scene, played 30 minutes of that final battle @ haven.. didn't finish because i really wanted to get at least one multiplayer session before i slept...

Session 3.  Joined another random pug, got in, finished map! party contained an elementalist who didn't use fire wall.  map was a destruction of the ruins w just a few beast mobs.   bought a chest, got junk.

....

so 1/3 successes, pretty bad, hadn't had the crash to desktop in v1.3 before.

I always test my connection before I start MP just in case there is a speed hiccup on my side, my router does occasionally throttle my connection and need a reset a couple of times a week. However my upload is decent enough to carry 4 people, (36mbps down, 8 mbps up), to the point where I can host people in other countries in other games and they say it's quite smooth, so I generally prefer being host and pretty much always get picked as host if one leaves.

I get the impression that damp, like all p2p co-op games, relies a lot on upload speed of the host but it isn't so great with match-making ping, likely because anyone can create a room. Other co-op games mitigate this with things like a server browser that show immediately the bad ping hosts, or they have huge enough player counts that the number of poor upload/ping hosts are only a small portion (ie CoD)

On that note, if I create a room, it'll take a long time to get anyone to join (like 5+ minutes). If II start a match up solo for a minute, suddenly it fills up. doesn't seem to be an issue if I get made the host of an existing room. I guess there is more priority to put people in "old" rooms and in-progress games?

Totally relevant.  Same here.  I started up DAI yesterday fully expecting to automatically receive the patch.  Nothing.  I went to the XB store to see if I could download it manually, but did not see any patches listed in the store.

I did manually shut down the game (I do this after I'm done playing), and restart a few times, but still no patch.  Will try again when I get home tonight.

I played a few matches last night (even with the Ele!) and am happy no key glitch occurred.

However, I am disappointed at how much the DC was nerfed .. demons are the easiest faction without the DC. Him being tough is what still made them a challenge, now they are a total cakewalk

Game 1, all fine.

Game 2, dogs bugged into walls, host migration.

Games 3/4/5/6/7/8, Maps 3 & 5 bugged out and no mobs could be seen...switched rooms every game and happened everytime.

Game 9,  Rubber banding/lagging like a mofo...host migrations/quit the rooms.

Game 10, still haven't gained 1 Prestige level after 7 days of working at it...

So back to Shadows of Mordor until they fix this BS!

The bugged maps and rubber banding I understood was connected with latency and bandwidth.

There may be nothing to fix aside of the internet between you and BioWare's matchmaking servers.
