I know its a big DLC (4 GB I think) and it varies via internet service so I am wondering how long this usually takes on average or in general.

file-size divided by download-speed (8MBit/s is 1MByte/s!) and you get the time in seconds. simple.

That depends on your download speed and I don't know what's considered "average" in terms of speed.

They recommend using a 50% overhead value to account for normal internet usage while downloading (e.g. checking email, searching the internet).  

 

You can speed it up by reducing overhead.  So turn off the internet capability on all inactive devices (or shut them down; e.g. iPad), don't stream video (e.g. don't use Hulu, Netflix or YouTube); etc.

DOes it matter what time you are downloading ? I mean, people cant always be shopping on origin 24 7 in the united states right?

It does, but I wouldn't worry about unless you're up at 4am EST and have nothing better to do and have no problems with your net (like a server being taken down for maintenance, etc).

It depends on how much porn you are downloading at the same time, don't forget.
