I finally decided on a man at arms with full kit.

I got asked out today at the gym for Valentines Day and as stupid as I was I said no. The guy was my type and everything and we had been exchanging looks for several months even, I don't know what's wrong with me, I just said "sorry no" and the guy looked heartbroken and sad and confused. I just panic at the thought of dating or getting in a new relationship, it's weird.
There is also this really old guy there, like 80 lol, he is so damn annoying!! He keeps hitting on me!! What is wrong with some men, I mean in that age??
Well if you are panicking about dating or getting into a relationship then the guy who asked you out was lucky.
Perhaps it is time for you to start asking the guys out? It is 2010 and beyond ya know.

Happens to me at well. But, from what I have been told there is always a reason why you have that panicked knee jerk reaction. Makes scene in my case, because dating and relationships tend to lead to physical contact and lets just say I'm not a fan of physical contact. Not a fan at all.

You made a mistake saying no imo. You have nothing to lose Just going out with someone your attracted too. Nothing at all. You probably would have had fun.

Well from what i gather and read.you already kind of know.past events and relationships.which lead to some emotional scaring(i can relate).time and some work and they will heal.like the other post said, maybe working up to ask whatever guy gets your eye out.and just go in with low expectations,not so low that him coughing up a joke to a sexual ref is uplifting but low to a certain degree

Yeah I know, I totally regretted it afterwards I always do that.
