You have nothing to feel bad for, you didn't say anything wrong. It's just a bit complicated, I had one guy who cheated on me, well he claims he didn't (that bastard!) but I know he did anyway, the rest is about them being too controlling, angry, violent one was but in general jealousy and lying, doing stuff behind my back and then suddenly showing their true colour which is a completely different person, it's hard to explain. I've just had enough of men, so now I turn every guy down who comes on to me.

 

You are either hopelessly bitter or an epic tease tbh.

And I am sure such experiences were hard on you. But why cave to them? You have a strong heart, it is obvious to all. Let it's strength shine through such disappointments. Will they be an impassable mountain between you and the satisfaction you deserve, or will they be mere speedbumps on the road to what is yours by right?

Women can be awful as well. One time a group of us were having dinner when one of us started bragging about how she had her boyfriend totally manipulated. She mistook our expressions for interest and kept going on. What she didn't realize for quite a while was that he was standing behind her and just boiling. He had stopped by to drop something off for her...

Ah hell. I said too much again. But if you insist.

 

The whole solitude thing. NO ONE loves it. Nobody. Eventually, everyone wants companionship in some form. It's part of being human. It is not weak or wrong. 

 

In my experience, the only people who would insist solitude is best are either:

1.) Bitter people. You got hurt and you gave up. You let that hurt define who you are and what you do. I don't doubt you were with some major league scumbags in the past. But to just "be tired of men" and not "be a lesbian" means you gave up. You gave up on yourself sister. It hurts me to say so, but I don't how else to describe it. 

2.) Teases. You are, potentially, acting this way to lure people into chasing you. You say you gave up on men to try to make men work harder for you. It's a massive charade to get affection.

 

But hey, that's just my viewpoint. Care to explain yours?

I still remember the first day when I pushed all the right buttons.

 

Of course, we never slept on the first date, but since then it's been a magical experience.

 

We do everything together, and I mean everything. She's my other half, my soul, my life...

I am not bitter or a tease, I am not that weak! Besides, I don't need to act like something else to lure a man in!

 

And of course I want the right companionship, the right guy, someone to hold me and etc. but I also would rather be alone than to settle with someone awful again or with someone who hurts me again and that's the truth. It's too painful to go through all that stuff again so I avoid and so maybe I have given up but not in a defeated way, I'm doing fine.

 

So you give up on men but you still want the right one?

 

Can you at least see why I am confused and skeptical?
