I don't have particularly bad experience with Valentine's day luckily, I like it as a day, it's a sweet day, my boyfriends, no matter how bad they've turned out in the end always made sure that day was great for me even if we had fights with some of them, they made sure to make me happy and be there and make it a special day, so I have fond memories of the day and I can't remember the last time I've been without someone on Valentine's Day, it must have been in my teens I think, so it's gonna stink this year :( Oh well, I am really tired of men lol.

Oh... The Wolf Children is excellent by the way. 

 

The Wind Rises is another favourite of mine as well.  I don't want to go to off-topic, but yeah, there are many excellent films that you can enjoy immensely, even if you aren't a fan of anime.  I don't personally watch a lot of "series", but I've seen a few.

Yes, yes, he woos you with his silver tongue and as soon as you are committed and are feeling just a little horny, advancing towards him in the new lingerie you bought at your favourite shop on the Citadel, seductively swaying your hips and finally passionately embrace him from behind, nibbing at his fringe, he won't even look up from his stupid datapad and say "Can it wait for a bit? I'm in the middle of some calibrations." ... stupid Turians being married to their jobs.

 

Been there, done that and broke up. Now I'm with a drell, at least even if he's busy, all you got to do to get on a trip with him is lick it.

No one should watch Grave of the Fireflies.

 

Personally I think it's Miyazakis most overrated work.

I don't think that was him, though.  It's Ghibli, but I don't think Miyazaki worked on it.

 

I'm a big fan of Howl's Moving Castle.

And Sim's right: Cowboy Beebop and Fullmetal are gateway drugs.

Kids on the Slope is worth a watch too.  Not so much action, but it's a sweet, thoughtful story with good character development and a totally baller soundtrack.

The amount of yelling I did at my TV when I tried to play Dark Souls. I got to the garden of whatever and quit after running from Ents and falling off a cliff.
