It's easy as hell now! It takes all the fun out of the game, especially when you have multiple promotions and were already powerful enough as it is.

 

You watch, you're going to lose a lot of the players who log in the most hours, because this completely takes the fun out of the game.

 

Reaver was difficult enough to use as it was. Now if there isn't a Barrier on her CONSTANTLY she is useless. 

 

I already know a ton of people on my friends list who were already sick and tired of the game, and now most of us are going to quit altogether.

 

Thanks for ruining the fun for the sake of whiny forum QQers who couldn't balance their way out of a paper bag. "OMG. IT KILLED ME. NERF IT!!!"

They lost more players to bugs. Fixing bugs = more players come back. 

 

If players were sticking around through bugs and all, I'm pretty sure they won't leave because the DC got a nerf. All the Reaver requires is a playstyle that isn't Rambroing.

Suppose you enjoy working at McDonald's and having no education as well? I mean, you seem to absolutely loathe being intelligent in any form.

 

Demon Commander is an absolute pushover now. I just don't understand why you can't realize it's not fun to fight something that can't fight back.

 

By the way, EVERYONE on my friend's list agrees with me. That's at least a dozen people who are probably going to quit this game, and NOT give you Platinum, Bioware.

I did find the DC nerf to be a little to severe, he's now on par with your average terror demon. I wouldnt be surprised if Bioware buffed him a little in the future

Yeah well they won't be getting any more of my money, or all the people on my friends list who TOTALLY AGREE with me, until they drastically shift their priorities.

 

MP was actually fun and I enjoyed it. That's why I'm so outraged by this. Ugh.

 

Why haven't you buffed the Venatori yet instead?

Ok, seriously, calm down OP.  Just because you and all your dozen of friends think the Demon Commander is too easy doesn't mean that everyone else that plays DA MP agrees too.

 

And before you say "Er mah gerd, another nerfer!", I've never once wanted an enemy to be nerfed.  Not even the Demon Commander.  What do I do when I get beaten by an enemy?  I figure out a way to beat it.  Did just that with ME3 MP.

 

Plus, you keep talking about stopping giving BW money and no longer buying Platinum when MP DLCs are completely free and buying Platinum is optional.  Not much of an incentive for BW since most of the money they're going to get will likely be from people buying the SP DLCs (whenever the hell they actually come out).  Plus, only a dozen players no longer playing DA MP won't even be a nick in the number of players who play DA MP, so thinking that you're part of some great crusade is just ridiculous.

 

I do agree with you on the Venatori Commander, though.  It's sad how easy it is to beat her.

Oh, I'll calm down. And never touch another Bioware game again.

 

Seriously. I couldn't even bring myself to get past the first encounter with the Red Templars invading Haven because I hated how much Bioware has neglected the tactical cam users.

 

And now I can't enjoy the game AT ALL because the only mob worth fighting is red templars. Everything else is easy mode and boring as hell.

If they have it where he takes off most of your health, but just let us have a sliver left to we don't need reviving so much, I would be satisfied. I think you can keep DC's dmg the same elsewhere.

 

I also think you could've expressed your view, OP, more tactfully. Bioware just finished working on this patch and were responding to complaints about the Demon Commander. It may be hard to find that balance since we have so many different characters with different levels of promotions. Also, are you playing on Routine, Threatening or Perilous? If the new DC is too easy, there is always Perilous for you.

It does no damage whatsoever now. He's a big wet paper bag that can only knock you down.

 

Oh, and the AoE was also nerfed on it, so he can't even knock down anyone but the person aggroed. 

 

All he can do now is flail at you and shoot slow moving, easily dodge-able projectiles.

We were fighting the DC last night (just got patch for consoles) and it made me laugh how easy he was on perilous, we were fine fighting him before but now it's a walk in the park.

LOL do you actually spend money on Platinum.... You are exactly what is wrong with this game to begin with. Anyone who supports the micro transactions is beyond help. 

Altleast they troll you by taking your money and giving you level 1 raiders swords and some useless potions you'll never use.

my stats only get everything less than 20 , get superb equipment

when you get this, the game is not difficult .

 

i prefer not to promote .so to keep the game get difficulties

when you get to 30 stats, of course it is easy

 

it is pointless to say how easy when you can get infinite promotion for their attributes

i remembered day 1 how many games got entire party defeated on only routine. not even close to boss room

 

1HKO on routine for DC? while routine is supposed for new player?

that is called cheap. not challenge

 

the only difficulties come when you can't get any promotion

using default weapon to play the game

I agree with OP, the DC (or Dave, as I call him. RTC - Bob, VC - Chantelle) is no fun anymore. Big mistake to nerf him. Yes it takes some getting used to when you first encounter him, but to nerf him so much was a bad mistake. 

 

All that needed to happen with Dave was to stop the multiple Terrors from jumping up from under you at the same time as he does, effectively stun locking you to your inevitable death.

 

Please change him back. Demons have become embarrassingly easy now.
