a lot of those types of idiots who will go onto the reviews for Donkey Kong Country Returns and cry "it's too hard!!!" like WTF? that's the entire point of the game

and it USED TO be the point of Dragon Age

Difficulty was never the point of dragon age; as the games were never hard, heck MP was never the point either. Dragon age was always about story and the characters. If BW was in fact listening to these forums more things from SP would already be fixed. So I doubt they are actually paying attention.

I feel like these huge decisions are foolishly made by game developers all the time based on feedback on forums.

Just because a lot of people are saying something on a forum doesn't mean it's the majority consensus, or it's a profitable idea to listen to them.

The recent change to the Demon Commander in Multiplayer is a prime example of this. All the players on my friends list are HATING this, it makes the MP way too easy, and we're likely going to stop playing because of it.

You listened to a bunch of idiots who had no idea what they were talking about, and now you're facing the consequences.

It's the same reason why Judges and even Lawmakers don't listen to the majority of the public, because usually it's safe to say they're all wrong.

You play multiplayer? IAUSDHAISUDHDIASUFHASIODHDASOIFUHASDIUASHDIUSDHIASUDHIASUHASIUHASIDUHSIDUHASIUD

The joke is on you.

Or, and here's a crazy thought, Bioware looked at their internal metrics and found that the demon commander actually needed a nerf.

using a forum to whine about forums.

Gold.

Posts like the OP's always have an uncommon ability to not notice the irony.

Personally I think if you're playing Dragon age for its multiplayer then you have lost already.

Everything else is irrelevant.

Here's my advice to everyone to take or leave: If you feel strongly about something you'd like a developer to do or not do, then write them a letter. I'm talking about a handwritten letter on a piece of paper, folded into an envelope, stamped and mailed. It'll carry far more weight than a forum post. It means you've taken at least some time to consider your position and that you feel strongly enough about it to make the effort.
