I don't think we could handle that amount of awesome in our game. My Quiz might have just defected to the other side...

I was talking to someone the other day about this,  and we felt it would have strengthened the game's conflict significantly. Many people consider Calpernia the more menacing and "big bad" type of villain in comparison with Samson, though she has a very sympathetic plot line of her own. But what makes Samson interesting is how personal his story is, and how sad; he's a very human sort of antagonist, so you'd get the best of both worlds.

...And really I just want both.

Hello again. I'm practically rolling in Samson feelings lately, so here's another fanfiction.

Speaking about fanfiction, just returned from tumblr and there seems to be plenty of smut with Samson x Inquisitor being released these days.

 

 

 

I may have my preferences concerning stories - I'd rather read a normal story, where sex is just part of a bigger context, with the right timing to appear and consisting of the result of an inevitable attraction that's had enough time to build momentum throughout the chapters - but it's nice to see the Samson fandom growing steadily. There's so much about the character that can be availed! This is a first step toward many other artworks and fan creations to come.

I do prefer stories with longer premises and build up with smatterings of smut (but I can certainly appreciate one off pieces too, especially well written ones!)

I'm currently writing about Samson and his transport to Skyhold from the Abor wilds, I'm tying in with events his character experiences DA2, because I find it kind of compelling. It's more canon than the piece I wrote that accompanies it (which I'd put in the AU category).

He brings up a whole pile of interesting side points to the DA Universe, the Chantry, faith, issues with addiction and the methods used by the chantry to bind Templars and seekers. So yeah, a whole lot to explore in fan fiction.

I think the DA:I cinematic tools are great for setting up shots like this, a bit of fiddling around and trying not to lose your bearings - fun times. I downloaded a freebie game recorder to help with the cinematics. I'm sure there is better software out there, and might invest at some point, but getting by with free stuff is AOK by me!

I want to go back to Haven and get some shots of Samson there but realised I'd done a back up of saves and deleted ones in game so they're not readily on hand.
