Loghain...

Don't look at me, it was Anora's idea to name the baby after her father, it wasn't our fault it was a girl!

Still, least she has a perfectly good reason to be scowling all the time, unlike her grandfather!

(And if I'm being honest, her mother too half the time. Maker, it's genetic, isn't it?)

Non-existent. The only way my Mistress Amell would drop some crotchspawn is if the throne of Ferelden (really: Alistair) really needed it. She'd be a terrible mother.

Kieran will have a sister in the future, and her mother will be Morrigan.

Well too bad the devs outright said two grey wardens can't have children together. Fanfic destroyed.

Not through conventional methods no, but a magic ritual or something of the like.  My Queen Cousland and Alistair has one of each Eleanor and Duncan.

Unless it is actually stated in-game, it's up to me to decide whether they can or cannot.  What devs say, what books say, what "game files on a disc say" are meaningless.  All that matters is the in-game experience.

Alistair mentions that he knows of absolutely zero Warden couples that produced children after becoming Wardens.

That's a cute way of thinking. Flawed, but very cute.

Anyhow, I'd name it Bastard. Just to confuse future scholars about it's legitimacy.

I can think of a few issues with that right off the top of my head, the biggest being that Alistair was not exactly a 100% know everything about the Wardens source of information.  Young recruit with not much time in service, never been to HQ in the Anderfels, hadn't scoured any records kept at said HQ for mention of pregnancies between wardens, etc etc etc.

My gaming experience.  I don't read the books, so their content is irrelevant to me unless it is  brought up in game.  What a dev says, unless it is incorporated into a game, doesn't make it part of my gaming experience... because it isn't in the game.  If they wanted a particular view to be "canon" then they would have included it in the game itself.

It does not change the fact that it is, in fact, canon.

Your canon, maybe.  Not mine.  It's a single player game.  My canon is what I want it to be.  I'll respect what is actually placed in game for me to experience, but outside sources (meaning outside what I experience in the game) mean nothing to me.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Grey Warden's can't have babies, it was I think explained by Alistair I forget when though.

Kieran was conceived but was only because of the Dark Ritual, right?

I thought that the whole "warden's can't have children due to the taint" was a conversation only between a romanced female warden and Alistair. To me that might suggest that two wardens could not have a child but perhaps a normal person and a warden could. After all Morrigan was very fond of saying how feral and strong my warden was in the tent. :P

So assuming a male warden king cousland and his lovely bride queen anora celebrated the end of the blight and the beginning of a new age by getting it on in the master bedroom... I say the odds are good there could be children. And if they had one, I'd probably name her after my cousland's mother. Were it a boy I'd name it after either his grandfather or Fregus's dead son.

Two Wardens, no. But Kieran can be conceived as a non-OGB, too.

Not true, in one of my playthroughs Kieran has a sister.

Her name is Queen Anora of Ferelden

Then you're talking about headcanon and not actual canon. That's something you should specify amigo.

Naw.  Headcanon is stuff you imagine to fill in the blanks that are left open.  It's another word for imagination.  Like the thing that  the people that whined about  the ME3 endings lacked.  Canon is just what is and isn't a part of the lore for the game as I experience it.

Therefore, as there is nothing authoritative in game that flat out says two wardens cannot possibly have a baby, it is possible, even if unlikely.

I should have included the Alistair & Warden too. If Alistair did the deed.

Fanfics are great

Kieran should have a sister. Most people here may be too young to remember Fire and Ice but it would be something like that I think, maybe.

You're going to need a stoic, unstoppable killing machine whose mission is to kill the Big Bad that may or may not be his son.

Come to think of it, evil Kieran all grown up with his mother Morrigan by his side and father hunting them both to kill Kieran would pretty much be all you need.
That, and Griffons.
Must have Griffons to fly into the final battle to build up to awesome slow-mo war cry and killing before the final confrontation with Kieran.

A grey warden can, it's just unlikely. I always assume it's the same likelihood as getting a girl pregnant when she's on the pill and taking it properly. Though it's never really stated how unlikely it is. A warden who didn't do the DR can get Morrigan pregnant though.

It is however impossible for two grey wardens to procreate.

Two wardens  0% chance to have any child is a Canon a stated fact, this is way regarding the heirs thing a Male Cousland have an impressive advantage on the Female Cousland, Anora and  Morrigan have more chance to concieve a child.
