Howdy, it's me again. I'm trying to use ga_faction_rep to modify a faction's attitude towards the PC during dialogue. I got it to work by using $PC in sTarget and the tag of the faction member I was talking to in sTargetFaction, but I couldn't get it to work with the tag of the faction in there. I want to do it remotely, so it happens when no members of the faction are present. Thanks, and thanks for the help on the other stuff.

if it's a custom faction you're trying to change,
you'll need to use the tag of an existing NPC of that faction in the same module
or use a

FACTION PIG !!

In the blueprints, you'll find a creature called "faction pig".  Obsidian used a series of non-hostile creatures with no scripts attached to them to use as a kind of reference creature for the different factions, because some of the faction scripts require you to specify a creature from which to copy the faction.  They put the pigs in an area where no player would ever see them in game.

Trippy! They're like some kind of soul-less clone swine! Now I want to make a whole dungeon of them!
