Hey Guys,
I recenlty purchased Mass Effect 2 and before playing the game I decided to setup a BIOWare Social Network account to stay up to date on the game and other BIOWare information. In any case I signed up using a stupid name which I do not want to use anymore so I'd very much like to change it! I spent almost 45min searching through the site looking for some setting that would allow me to make this change but had no luck what-so-ever! Thanks for any and all help you guys can give!

Apparently you can't. Really stupid when you use your e-mail to log in not a user name.



I as well picked a name for my BioWare Social Network that was fitting for DA:O (and mislead that this was my character name and/or only used for DA:O) but its just stupid for ME2.



I am also screwed about linking my EA/BioWare account for ME2 and DA:O with the account I have had for years for Neverwinter Nights and ME1.



Im getting really sick of this signup crap for every damned developer. Now its even worse with these mandatory registered serials to unlock content.



Guess I could just delete my old BioWare one since I used it for nothing more than a place to hold my serials and deal with my stupid BWSN name...

If you just signed up, you can always delete your account, then sign up again with the same email address (So it uses the same EA Account) and choose a different username. Since DLC is associated with the EA account, it shouldn't be affected if you've already redeemed some codes.

It will orphan any posts you've made, and you have to set everything up again, but its better to do that now if you really don't like the game.
