When I first started playing this the Indra was the biggest WTF weapon (next to Incisor, which is still very much in the WTF category). Now it's my go-to secondary sniper for any kit with Marksman or other firing rate bonuses (GI, QM, N7 Destroyer). Rips things apart on Gold and stays accurate enough for headshots. Little Baby Indra's all growed up.

Raptor is superior. Indra's a fun weapon though. I like it on the QMI with cheese rounds in place of assault rifles, since that's basically what it is.

Meh... It's an okay AR with a scope. Comes handy when i'm out of AR IIIs.

Loved it in single-player. I have yet to unlock it in multiplayer, but I hope I shall. My QFI would very much like to have a go...

Is fun until you use it on host and run into a Fantum, though I guess that goes for every automatic.

I especially love staggering Maurauders with it. In my head while reeling from relentless auto-fire they cry out in a C3PO voice, "My eyes! My eyes!" before their head explodes.

I hadn't used it for a long time until last week or so.  Was doing SR challenged for the hell of it with GE, and slapped that on with IA.  It was deadly on full auto.

It feels cool when you use it, but then you realize it's like a high rof tickle gun .. okay if you are using it for priming

 

Hmm, maybe i'll re spec my GI with 6 in cloak and use it next time i'm on ...

 

Edit: Quite frankly, it competes for the title of worst UR in the game

I don't think I'd ever use it for my primary gun. But as a lightish-weight long range backup for a close quarters kit it does well. With accuracy & firing rate bonuses, and especially with Cryo or AP ammo, I was surprised how quickly it tears apart Gold Brutes.

It's alright. Can't stand it's ridiculously bright 'explosive rounds' particle effect as it tends to make me loose my targets when the action gets too intense.

It's a solid weapon, I like it too. I use it regularly with the drell infiltrator, with incendiary rounds.

This. Plus it's crap against Phantoms and doesn't do all that well vs bosses.

its a really good gun imo, lacking only CQC. It oushines the poor raptor all day everyday. Well raptor is the worst gun ever, isnt it ?

I like it on the Huntress with warp ammo, and stability mod.

Not really. Raptor has higher DPS than Indra despite being an uncommon. Otherwise, they play almost exactly the same except for the reload and holding vs tapping the button.

You can't click as fast as to make the DPS on paper. Same as Mattock. You need a macro for that.

It's only 400 RPM. Hitting a button 6 times per second isn't that difficult.

Uh, still, getting a carpal tunnel after 2 waves does not sound inviting to me. 

 

P.S. Checked some numbers and the Raptor has a ROF of 550 while the Mattock is 450. It's basically impossible to do 7.5 clicks per second consistently through-out the game with good accuracy, so you can forget about 9.1 clicks required for the Raptor, especially while zoomed in.

Raptor has a ROF of 550 but a refire delay of .15 seconds which means you can't achieve any higher than 400 RPM. The 550 is there solely to nerf ammo proc chance (because ancestors forbid that the Raptor proc better, it would no doubt be as OP as the Reegar then).

Git stronger fingers hewmon. I have no issues. It's not nearly as bad as using a Counter Strike or COD semiautomatic.

it's not the fingers. It's the wrist that get's tired.

If it had no hipfire penalty then it'd be alright. And nothing more. The way it is, it's kinda lackluster.
