This is a tough choice for me ugggh v.v'' For some reason I didn't max out Legion in my last playthrough so I don't have Geth Shield Boost. I also want to keep this sticking with the Solider route , so no Biotics.
Inferno Grenade or Warp Ammo are my choices , Inferno allows me to do a bit of CC although not alot it makes sense for a Soldier to be throwing Grenades (don't really like Flashbang so I went with Inferno) and Warp ammo is just another Ammo Type I can add to my already large list of ammos the Solider has.

Alright I just read a Guide for the Flashbang and ....it really sounds useful , so add Flashbang to the list as well

I completed a full playthrough with Inferno Grenade and have to say that I find it more useful than Incinerate. It has a learning curve but once you get the idea it becomes a quite useful tool for flashing enemies out of the cover. So my suggestion is Inferno Grenade with Heavy Inferno Grenade evolution at rank 4.

I tend to stay away from extra Ammo types anyway as a Soldier as you already have 3 open to you anyway. if you're playing as a class that doesn't have an ammo type by default i.e Adept then yes having an ammo type as a bonus ability can be useful as they definitely do extra damage so in your position I would go inferno grenade but that's based on how I play normally

You can always retrain later if you end up not liking it
Don't try to hit enemies with it, throw the grenade on the ground near them. Easier to hit and there is a chance that shrapnel can hit the target too resulting in additional damage.

Flashbang is probably one of the best bonus powers available, as long as you can throw it reliably.
I personally consider Warp Ammo a biotic power, so I would strike it from the list on those grounds, but otherwise it has limited usefulness on a Soldier when compared to Squad Cryo or Inferno Ammo.
I never really used Inferno Grenade much. Might be somewhat interesting on a Claymore soldier.
