Has anyone gotten 20 out of 20 cargo crates?

Best I could do is 10.  I attempted the mission too early I guess, before I had good enough weapons/skill levels to take down the mechs faster.

I also made the mistake of wearing the Inferno Armor, which does not handle firefights well.

I miss the ability to change armor and weapons in game.

I got 9 i think on my playthru but i also did it fairly early. On my 2nd playthru i might ignore it for a while and see what happens. Though the game does lvl with you so the mechs will be just as hard only i'll have more stuff to use i guess.

I got 16 after multiple reloads. I was gunning for no less than 15, so I counted my losses and moved on. lol

I don't know if it's possible. Crates start getting destroyed before you can even get to the mech on the far side.

I suppose if you sprint to the far mech and send your squad mates to stand next to the other 2 you might get close to 20,

The number of enemies depends on the game's difficulty. Lower the difficulty before you start the mission and there might be fewer mechs.

I got all 20, using the nuke and a sniper rifle to aggro the far away mech

My paragon FemShep talked the mechs out of blowing them up, but then gave the contents to the Conrad Verner Foundation.

Yeah I only got 7, started off badly because at first didn't realise they would start bashing them, I just figured they could potentially get destroyed in the firefight, so when I noticed they were destroying them I was like "NOOOOOOO!" couldn't be bothered to restart though, I'll know for future playthroughs but as Loudent said I highly doubt you can get 20 due to that far off mech.

It been a while since did it, someone remind me, soon as you start attacking them they concentrate on you right?

So i guess the key thing is to at least get a shot on them all asap to divert their attention to you. Then maybe have a team member/mech, or concentrate on one and if got someone that can AI hack, hack it then it be 4 on 2 :D

Edit: @Sasquatch, the nuke not blow the crates? :o cool B)

What?? I tried this multiple times and even skipped it (with a Saved Game) and tried when I had another 8 levels under my belt and Never ever saw an option on any Mech to "negotiate" with those Walking metal Tins?  Please tell me/us how and where that option was........sorry but I am a completionist, so need to go back and try that one again...........oh and btw the best I was able to do was 12.

I turned the difficulty down to casual with my soldier sporting level 3 disruptor ammo, with Miranda and Garrus using overload and warp to counteract the shields and armor.  I was flying around as quick as I could using adrenaline burst and I was scoring close to 100% headshots with my battlerifle and the best I could do was 17 out of 20.  If you were really lucky you might get 18 or maybe even 19; but I think 20 out of 20 is impossible.

That could work.  The mechs won't all target you at the same time so some of them are always focused on destroying the boxes; but if you could kill the first two in one shot then snipe the far one to gain his attention, you might be able to pull it off.

HAHAHA!  Thanks I have this RPG "disease" that I must do absolutely everything in a Game in order to feel satisfied and you would have made me start that section all over again just so I could say I did it!!!  LOL!

Good one though, I almost fell for it??

I've gotten 20/20 on normal/easy difficulty, without nuking em. Snipe all 3 of em & chip away while they take forever to reach you.

It's not so easy on veteran/insanity though :[ Best I've done is 10/20.

I managed to get 18/20 my third time through...I just couldn't get the other Mechs's attentions until the one focusing on me was dead, though.

on normal 1 nuke will kill 2 mechs if you do it immediately, at harder difficulties if you are an infiltrator you can cloak and do the nuke for extra damage

I got 19/20 on Insane by deploying the M92-Cain I believe its called. (tac nuke)

Ordered my team mates to be targets by ordering them to go as far as possible ahead to distract the mech which requires them to end of infront of where the mechs are going to be shooting the crates.

Sprinted as much as possible.

Fired a couple of shots into the face (not back of head) of the mechs still standing to get them to target me instead of the crates then sprint to then next mech still standing if any are left.

I repeated this mission about 20-25 times to try to get all 20 but when I got 19 I was to tired of it to keep trying to get a perfect score.

Is there actually a higher reward for saving all 20?
