Are these bugs or intended?

1. At level 60 my Shepards always end up with 3 left over talent points preventing them from getting rank 5 in whatever skill they don't have maxed.

 

2. Assault Rifle High Velocity Barrel - why doesn't this stack with the damage barrel? But, it will stack with the other armor pen mod as well?

 

3. Squad mates with grenade powers - are they supposed to not use them ever unless you tell them too? Garrus won't even fire proximity mines and they don't cost grenades.

 

4. Kaiden's Barrier - even though the HUD says it's on it doesn't "look" on (no purple glow around him) and I have to make him turn it off and back on to make it work.

 

That's all I can think of at the moment.

1. It's the way it is designed

2. It takes the same slot as damage barrel (adds extension to the same place on the gun). Thus they can't be used both. Piercing mod stacks with High Velocity Barrel granting the gun even more penetration distance.

3. You have to use squadmate grenades manually. However, Garrus will use Proximity Mines as it is considered a power, not a grenade.

4. No idea

I've never seen Garrus use it though, unless unlike Shepard's it's instant like some of the other squad mate powers? Hard to tell since I don't remember the explosion being very big or flashy when I used it.

 

The 3 skill points left over just seems dumb, I tried adding 2 points with Gibbed so I'd have 0 left over but it keeps resetting all my skill points after a mission; Squad mates don't have left over points they can always max all but one and take it to the 3rd rank.

1. Not really a bug but kinda annoying, yes.

2. Both mods use the same slot on the AR, you have too choose between them.

3. Nades are only used when you manually tell them to afaik, Proxy Mine is no nade and is used by Garrus like every other power

4. Pretty sure that's just a visual thing
