Well, I hope Wild hunt is everything that the internet says it will be. I'll admit they're off to good start so far. 54 dollars no tax on PSN. 16 free DLC just for buying the game. 16 hours to record Mo-cap sex scenes :D .  Now, all they need to do is move UP that damn release date for once; cuz I'm getting tired of waiting.

I'd rather wait and get a polished game free of bugs and screen tear. Things that were still happening as of a week ago according to some reviews/previews I read. I don't want to experience problems that eat away at my enjoyment of the game like I did with Inquisition.

Triss and Yeneffer are interesting companions much better than stupid DAI companions like Vivene and Sera....You will also play as Siri in W3 for first time...She is Geralt's daughter..

Some people don't like Witcher games coz it doesn't allow custom character and has too much sex and violence :P

You do realize that Sera's favorite word is 'stupid'. They are not 'stupid', but unique like every other person with his/her own personality. You may not like someone, but calling someone stupid 'cause of their character makes you an idiot. Oh wait...Your nickname explains everything, I guess.

At this point, if they're still struggling with it, I think we'll have waited that extra three months for nothing.

Well, he is right about fetch quests..90% of side quests are pointless fetch quests in DAI...

Dying Light has better side quests than DAI.. lol

SWTOR has better fetch quests and everything about that game is one giant fetch quest.

It will have bugs and minor performance issues just like every other open world game....

So a Witcher dev had a bland comment on DAI that people have said plenty of times already.

I'm not sure why people compare these games so much, from what I've seen, they have nothing in common beyond the 'fantasy middle ages' genre and the fact you make moral choices. Oh, and now DAI has some boobs and bums in it, so I guess that's a final thing in common.

That was my opinion Idiot..  Sera and Vivene are easily worst the Bioware characters..

Well, I'll let you linger in your shallowness.

i've never expected myself to say this, but:

i'm going to play TW2 tonight.

why is that strange? i think first game was boring and light years behind DA:O in terms of gameplay and story, the only nice thing i can think of it is that it draws heavily on slavic mythology. it's always nice to see something fresh.

I haven't seen an open world game that wasn't buggier than a cheap motel. Even Rockstar - who has like ten times the budget anyone else does - still can't fight that off.

So they should squash the big ones and release it earlier then May 19th. They've pushed this thing back twice now, how many damn bugs this game have.

TW2 has an entirely different gamplay, so maybe you'll enjoy that more. I'm one of the weirdos that preferred Witcher 1 combat though.

GTA V was also delayed and it still had bugs....Rockstar QA team is bigger than entire CD Red i think..lol

AC Unity by Ubisoft was also full of bugs...3,000 people worked on it and still had game breaking bugs..lol

there is a snag tho... there is no way i can play as a mage (signs or whatever that was, don't count), well there wasn't in 1st one, irrc :3

Watching that vid, I'll say it looks graphically good and the combat is probably great fun, but my impression is this is geared more toward teenage boys than the more broad appeal DAI has across age, gender, and social lines.  The lack of companions is glaring.  I'll likely give it a shot either way and hope I don't end up disappointed.

As far as fetch quests go, I'm certain it will have it's fair share of the pointlessly inane.  My approach to side quests has always been to engage them at moments of convenience within the context of more relevant quests and story-related material.  If I get them done, yah, if not, so be it.

I find a little funny for you to say this while having a anime avatar

I'm just watching now the 15 min gameplay posted here and I love how NPCs actually look medieval and doesn't have modernized look or modernized haircuts

It can be fun at times, especially when PVPers start raging at each other in chat. Inquisition to me seems like it was originally going to be an MMO, but then they realized they wouldn't be able to pull it off in time and just repackaged it as a SP game, only they left in 75% of the MMO stuff.

You can cast signs which are basically spells. But yeah you can't wear robes and terrible hats and have a staff. Magic is more grounded in TW universe.

I'll wait until the end of the year for this game so we can get it with as minimal bugs as possible

maybe by then I have a new PC

If you say so. No weird hats for magic users in Witcher.

I disagree with the notion that there are that many trivial fetch quests, but at least he admits that they have use for role-playing which many here ignore.

I may play The Witcher 3. The game looks good so far.
