I feel a need to clarify that I only do it to friends. Never to strangers in random PUGs (that would be mean and inappropriate; don't do it, kids!).

We did that to each other alllll the time in my friend circles on ME3MP so it just sort of happens on instinct with buddies. Whoops.

I keep hoping, at some point, they'll come up with an objective that encourages team play and PUGs, but alas...

You can solo routine for the individual challenge, sure, but if the platform wants to complete the community challenge then it needs to run full teams and keep everyone alive to accomplish that.

 

That's pretty much a team based challenge right there.

I'll contribute my 6 to the community challenge through soloing, but I've been playing since day 0 and I don't think I've ever been in a multiplayer match where no one got downed at any point over the entire run.  Since the immortal medal got added, I've had a couple 3 immortal runs, but never one with all four.  Maybe if I was playing a private match with friends, but PUGs?  There's always that one guy...

I like this challenge, it makes idiotic teammate errors even more noticeable. So we are on the last wave of Red Templars, commander is down and we just have to clean up the trash....as I turn to take a look at the rest of the trash, our assassin who wasn't even helping with the commander is slashing away at said trash, doesn't kill anything...and then dies for the first death of the match. NoooOOOOOO!

I would usually agree, but I made myself get the individual chest PUG'n Threatening...and I got it. It took a couple of extra games, sure, but I actually had six teams on Threatening finish the match without face planting.

Racer honey, bagging circles makes it even worse honestly LOL.

Either way what's some face to no-no areas between friends. I can't think of a better folk remedy to drag me out of sweet unconsciousness LOL

I just played a round (Perilous) with guy that is on the top 50 on leaderboard PC that can full draw upgraded + longshot  all day (no cool down or stamina used).

 

The boss was asleep the entire zone 5. 

 

That round From zone 2 to zone 5 was like 8 minutes tops. He soloed everything. I got like 5 kills the entire match

OT. I think it's practically impossible to complete the solo award with PUGs. I managed to keep some alive with my keeper (oh wait!!!), and one Archer decided it would be ideal to run ahead into the middle of a group of baddies at the end of Zone 4. The only death. Smh.

Love this challenge! Got my personal completed along with a nice pug group earlier this morning. I have to say, I was panicking a bit on my squishy Archer (I tend to die at least once on Threatening), but we made it through 6+ games unscathed. My teammates were really thoughtful too; I could tell we were all actively watching each others' backs.

 

25,549 on PC as of this post. First star down!

Aside from idiots who either cannot READ what the challenge entails or do not CARE, the challenge went well for me. I was VERY surprised when almost every one of the PUGs I was in suddenly acted like teams.

 

I mean... what are the odds? Even on Routine?

 

We had tanks who actually tanked and held aggro. (SOMEONE ACTUALLY USED TAUNTS! WOW!!!!)

We had DPS who stayed behind the tank! (*gasp*)

We even had an assassin who knew to flank enemies to get higher damage. (Which is just INSANE in my personal experience.)

 

I ran my Katari exclusively (trying to get the banner for him is a PITA) and did not fall once the whole day of playing. @23 games and only had 2 guys fall. (Both were idiots who opened chests alone and got pwned by Revenants)

 

I like it.

• (15h) Last gen: 6,700

XB1: 33,700, slightly ahead of target but not by tons.

Using a low level Templar, I managed to complete it on routine with pugs.

Not sure what that says about me, though.

I think PC community will flop this challenge,too.It is less than 30K at this moment.

Player base is just too small.
