No reports from PS3, but

PS4 and Xbox One are running safely ahead of target.

Xbox 360 seems to be pretty much on target.

PC strangely is apparently running about 5-10% off the pace, not sure why that should be different for this task?

Split targets at the 18hr point, measured at: 4am PST - 7am EST - 12pm GMT - 1pm CET

  • Next gen target: 33,500
  • Last gen target: 8,000

Away from statistics, I'm having a lot of fun with this one. After a bad start, did all 6 personal objectives in PuGs.

PC were running behind for the treasure task too, but it seems their servers sometimes have to "catch up", and add all their stats in a 5 minute block   ;)

PS4 now on 46658 - almost to star number 2.

Weirdly playing Perilous, and no-one goes down.  Play Threatening, and someone always goes down.  How does that work?

Useful to know, thanks.

I finally got some runs done with PUGs, but only cause I ran the levels solo while they held back and stayed out of my way...  I guess that contributes 4 to the community goal rather than the 1 I normally would?  But at the same time, I don't know how many runs some random ****** who doesn't know how to play his class screwed up for us before I found that group, so maybe it was a wash...

Using a low level Templar, I managed to complete it on routine with pugs.

Not sure what that says about me, though.

A bit of hyperbole on my part.

This I found was more difficult to complete than I thought it would be.  Playing routine people seem to find creative ways to die.  I don't recall so many archers or plaeyrs with one bar of healthy running leroy jenkins style into spawn after spawn.

I did have my own fail (which I of course blamed on another player.):  I was playing a katari (by FAR) the worst class in the game and no one joined my game so I soloed to the last wave of demons, only the commander left but I ws out of potions and my heal onkill was of course no longe useful.  I got him down to about 1/4 left but I am hurt and struggling when a keeper joins.  Yay!  The cavalry!  The keeper gets into the battle and does not cast even one barrier at all, not on me not on him/herself.  I don't think the keerp was casting any spells i could see, just staff fighting.  Commander down to a small bar of health and the bugger kills me with a ground leap thus ruining the challenge for the game.  The keeper does seconds later.

I really can't stand the friggin katari, horrible class.  (Beerfish L2P!)

Wrong! Wrong!

OT. I think it's practically impossible to complete the solo award with PUGs. I managed to keep some alive with my keeper (oh wait!!!), and one Archer decided it would be ideal to run ahead into the middle of a group of baddies at the end of Zone 4. The only death. Smh.

As my Legionaire was level one last night I decided to play a few routine matches to get walking fortress ready for some threatening attempts. 3 games later I was good to go with the challenge half done already, 4 threatening pugs and it was done.

That'll do pugs. That'll do.

I hit the sack early last night and missed out a bit on my runs, but ran a few pugs with people playing fairly competently.  I think we were 5/6 or 6/7...  and no RTC lockups in the boss fight!  This patch is pretty nice.

PS3 is at 12966/30000.

Well on track, 37,000 is the target for 20h, so a healthy 10k on top.

PS4 should close out the challenge Sunday evening GMT / Sunday lunchtime PST.

PC was the only platform off-pace, have they caught up?

I think PC players play more on the weekend, and less on Fridays.  They always tend to jump way ahead once the weekend proper starts.

Anyone remember the "no consumables allowed" weekend event they once had in ME3? That just led to everyone soloing Bronze? It was problematic for many of the same reasons as this once.

Still, at least with this event you can actually see whether someone goes down or not. Unlike in ME3, when you were left wondering if someone who was trolling or forgot popped an ammo pack.

I played maybe 15 matches yesterday. Out of those 15 games only 2 had no one dying.

I don't think pc players are participating actively. They seem to play regularly without adjusting their game strategy for the event .

I see lvl 4-5 on threatening and level 10 group on perilous. Even worst, some people promote and run a level 1 on perilous or threatening in public games.

So far I've found the best way to do this is just to PUG routine with a high level keeper and dash ahead of everyone.  Takes about 8 minutes to complete, and I'm usually getting the full 4 immortals every time.

So many n0bletz out of force today, keen on ruining the event :(

I've even seen Arcane Warriors go down on room 2 on threatning.
