PS3 and PS4 appear to have it well in hand.

For the other platforms, this community challenge is not in the bag.

PC and 360 look to be in trouble, but the time zones should swing back in their favour now.

Xbox One are barely ahead of schedule by 1-2%,

Split targets for the 24hr point, measured at: 10am PST - 1pm EST - 6pm GMT - 7pm CET

  • Next gen target: 44,800
  • Last gen target: 10,700

going to use my archer on this since it dont mater if the party gets knocked down for 6 matches on your own so you can be in party but dont need to worry about the knock down unless it happens to you of course

Man, it looks grim for PC's. Sitting at 41k, still 9k from the second star.

Very odd, the PC crowd rolled over the first challenge a couple of weeks ago.

This challenge requires Destruction and Patch 4 doesn't it?

Could a significant proportion of PC players have not bothered with the DLC/Patch ?

Good question. As far as I know most of the players have the DLC and patch, but there might be a few that never reinstalled the patch if they removed it.

I think it might, and I say "might" with the caveat it's just a guess, be because most of the squads I'm on are simply trying to clear the map, not necessarily stay alive through the whole thing. That suggests they have the individual accomplishment done and are just...playing the game at this point.

Even if the patches were the problem, they should consider that when setting the goals. There's no reason to punish other players with an unreachable goal (might look like that this time around, again) for someone else's meta-decision.

As they're clearly attempting to set goals scaled for each platform, well-set targets should ideally end up with all platforms finishing around the 5-star-completion point every time. It should be a slight reach of a goal, so some of the platforms should make it, but others just barely miss it. But they should all be close. Not sure if that's going to be the case for PC this week.

I don't believe it requires either.

My understanding is that the "Immortality Medal" was fixed server side. After all, it was available on consoles over a week before Patch 3 or 4 were.

My experiences from today with PUGing leads me to believe there are way way too many gung-ho players. The challenge is pretty simple, and only have one real requirement ; Build a solid group, and work together. (Which I guess is two things, but bite me :)).

I've tried to throw myself in front of the team in order to absorb as much damage as possible, but the teams I was a part off only had a 1/3 ratio of completing without downs. Sure, we always extracted but that doesn't do awhole lot for this challenge.

PC were running behind for the treasure task too, but it seems their servers sometimes have to "catch up", and add all their stats in a 5 minute block   ;)

PS4 now on 46658 - almost to star number 2.

Weirdly playing Perilous, and no-one goes down.  Play Threatening, and someone always goes down.  How does that work?

unprepared/scrubs play one game, get wrecked and don't return.

the challenge makes them want easy completions even more so they stay in a difficulty they can handle.

perilous is also where most of the private/mic'ed up rooms are so everyone is working together usually.

Not saying the challenge is unachievable.

PC were less than 10% off the pace and may catch up as North America hits peak gaming...

PS4 update: 67,897

The Threatening rooms are dire right now. DIRE. Like, we're not even completing matches. Zero teamwork. I has a sad. :(

Went back to face-stomping Routine with ridiculously high-level characters because at least folks seem to actually be... coordinating... there. Almost every lobby I've been in has completed the personal challenge multiple times now.

See, if the goal was earn X number of immortal medals, I wouldn't mind so much, cause one guy couldn't screw it up for everyone.  As it stands, playing with PUGs is pretty hit and miss, and soloing routine isn't a ton of fun.  I miss being able to play threatening with a group, but when I do, I feel like I'm not contributing to the goal, cause we never get through without at least one death...

Maybe I'm just not very good at MP compared to most, but this challenge really sucks the fun out of MP for me...

As far as I can tell, PC gamers just aren't playing DAMP. I can barely even find a routine match, which shouldn't be that hard to find. Or at least I wouldn't expect routine games to be hard to find.

My guess is the sudden  challenge completion a couple of weeks ago was due to a glitch, because it was odd we were plodding along at a steady rate, then it was just done.

It's funny to see that every challange so far was designed to solo routine. I didn't bother soloing it 4+x last week, i won't bother doing it 6x now.

A lot people on PC have moved on to other games. There used to be like between 20-30 people in any one time playing DA:I on my friendlist when it first came out, now I would be lucky to see more than 3 palying at a time. This at least from my personal experience showed how many gamers bioware had lost. When I asked some of my friends why they have stopped playing, 85% said bugs and almost all said DAMP is just an inferior game when compared to what the market has to offer.

Yeah, so far it just seems so much more limited than ME3MP, which I really enjoyed. I like the co-op MP a lot.  I just feel like they need some more variety in stages/enemies/objectives, so it doesn't feel like the same match every single time...

The fact that it took them this long to work out some of the notorious game breaking bugs, and I've started running into a whole new set now...  That's gonna be frustrating for anyone...

Got kicked from 4 straight ROUTINE difficulty games by levels 15 - 20. God forbid I play on my recently promoted level 1 Necromancer...

DAMP could've been so great. It could've been the best multiplayer experience bioware has ever introduced, but instead, bioware dropped the ball.

X360 only at 10,500 as of 17:00 Eastern Time Saturday. (I think that's 22:00 GMT.)

So 1/3 done but with much less than 2/3 of our time left. Not looking good....

= = =

Setups that worked well on Threatening:
- Legionnaire, 2 Archers, Keeper -- optimal mix probably
- 2 Archers, 2 Keepers -- slower than the above but safer
- Legionnaire, 3 Archers -- quite harrowing on Zone 5 because Archers draw so much aggro

When they release the next DLC it'll be interesting to see how many come back to give it another chance. More important is how many of those people stay and bring more.

They can't afford to rush the release either, and potentially drive more people away with glitches.

50560 on PC as of right now.

Had a good couple of rounds when I took my new Punched by the Maker out for a spin, even managed to get three rounds without hitting the ground in with a Katari in the group :P

I agree. I did all six of mine in various Threatening PUGs...not that the PUGs were threatening, of course. Or the game. Well, yes, the game setting was...

Ah, screw it. I did all mine with different groups.
