I saw it once... finally.... But some high lvl arcane warrior was speed running it so had no time to notice anything... Why do people make public matches if they are going to solo the dungeon?
New Elven Ruins are availble.

Glad to hear people are enjoying the Eleven destruction route! I will pass comments on to the rest of the MP level team. It's good to know what works for players.
What works particularly well is a few extra pathing options and it's slightly more 3 dimensional.
The slightly wider areas with multiple visible spawn points will cause havoc when folk are pulling aggro indiscriminately
.
I've been enjoying running through the big mushrooms...

If I were you, I would have just went full-out leech and just strolled around admiring the landscape.
OT: I still have yet to see the new map. Looking forward to it.

I got this level once, it was awesome! Why can't we select this in lobby?
1 time out of 500000000 is a damn tease.

This route is frickin' awesome. It would be cool if they had a route that led to some caves/dungeons, and some more that took you outside to larger spaces where you could fight a dragon.

Finally. Yes, it is a good map.
Unfortunately I need to be that guy and say that we need new game modes, not more maps for this current mode.
I do visually like it, I really do, but I can't take any more of this current game mode. We need mp dragon encounters, maybe some kind of questing thing, maybe some kind of deep-roads warden thing where its a king of the hill scenario where the longer you hold the better the reward until you're finally overwhelmed.
...anything at all.

I'ven't been able to play the game because of my studies. Can't wait to see the new Elven Ruins.

Since no one has mentioned it yet, the new Elven Ruins map is up on last gen too. Well, I call only speak for PS3 (ran into it a while ago and it was awesome), but I'd assume that 360 wouldn't be left in the dark, so it's likely on there too.
Sucks that I had to get the map while pugging, though. Would've been nice to solo it so I could take a good look around instead of having to stick with the randoms to make sure they didn't get demolished.

They poof out a little brown mist and disappear. Part of the "environmental destruction", like destroying boxes and stuff.
It's actually kind funny to hop on them or run through them and POOF. ![]()

I think I triggered once a mad laughter from my alchemist at some point, it'd be really great if it was triggered by stomping enough mushrooms.

Have you actually tried them with glowing lichen? Simply De-Li-Ci-Ous!

Check this out.....Multiplayer Adventure Mode!!
You adventure through different connecting maps. At check points there will be a stash to refill potions. Different bosses at the end of each level, and a dragon thrown in there at the end for good measure. You progressively level from level 1-20....the adventure takes long enough that you will earn prestige for the class at about the same rate as normal leveling. At each checkpoint, you save, and you can choose to continue or drop out and continue at a later time with new random group members.
Anyway, new route kills all other routes, for me at least. Keep up the good work.

I've played a ton of Elven ruin games (like 10) and have yet to see it. Is getting this map that rare?
Maybe the host hasn't downloaded the patch? A lot of people haven't on ps4 it seems. Unless it is automatic now. If it isn't, they should put a notice on the main screen of the game.

This route is super gorgeous, and that atmospheric lighting... !
I wish the 5th region was unique though...

I've played it now a couple of times in its daylight version, too. It's well done. Nice vertical variation. Vegetation adds a good feel and the lighting is generally very good. Also some nice open places for (melee) battles - they death traps against archers, but great for melee (Katari love it).
One of the long ramps has some pathing issues, not all AI use the ramp, I saw a couple of enemies going up the rubble to the left and squeeze through some stones at the top.
I also like this map, because it's less likely to have the camera jump around like crazy near obstacles - it's generally more open and I need room to manouver (and breathe). Also prevents me raging about bumping into players.

Do the mushrooms actually do anything? I was told that they might cause some sort of status effect but this didnt seem to be the case whenever I got this map.
I think they just disintegrate in a pretty way...
