Hi everyone,

 

as the title of this topics says, I'm trying to re-create weapons from DA:O in DA:I using the crafting systems.

 I'm not trying to min-max or that kind of stuff, the goal is to be as fluffy as possible.

 

Recreating Asala is my primary goal (Sten's sword) using the serrated blade schematic (with steel). However, I cannot identify the GS grip that I should use, same for the pommel.

 

Faith's Edge is also manageable (Silverite Hossberg's twainer) though I'm still missing the grip and the haft.

 

Any other suggestion ?

I'm pretty sure there is a sword grip in there actually called "Sten's sword grip". I've seen it multiple times, even at vendors I think. Check with Bonny sims, or any of the skyhold vendors.

But I really don't know what Asala looks like and never played warrior class so this might not be helpful- just putting it out there.

Ok after a little bit of research here is what I've found contributions are welcomed :

 

Asala :

- serrated GS blade (canyon tomb in the hissing wastes) craft with iron for fluffyness, craft with everite for effectiveness.

- Masterwork Crescent GS grip (random loot/cheat engine/cradle farm)

- Ornate Pommel (random loot ?)

 

Ageless/Ewigkeit :

- Wide Greatsword

- curved greatsword grip / Masterwork jeweled GS grip (alternative)

- decorative pommel (BUG: Does not display properly) / firm pommel (alternative)

- Rune of cleansing required for extra darkspawn killing

 

Yusaris :

- Masterwork Engraved Blade (silverite)

- Broad Greatword Grip

- Engraved Pommel

- A rune of dragonslaying is fitting

 

Griffon's Beak :

- Anderfels cleaver w/ silverite (war table mission)

- Wrapped 2handed haft

- sharp pommel

- best served with a rune of cleansing

 

The summer sword :

- Firm Greatsword blade (silverite)

- Masterwork Ornate GS grip (farm/cheat engine)

- engraved pommel (suggestions for improvement welcomed)

 

Blade of mercy (fenris restricted) :

 - balanced greatsword

 - Butterfly GS grip

 - Etched Pommel

 

Also note : Sten sword grip is a longsword grip so it does help for asala
