I don't know how these guys on youtube actually record DAI.

I've tried Fraps and Dxtory, none of them worked so far. It's like they don't recognize Dragon Age at all, and i haven't been able to record anything!

Do you guys know any other program that i might be able to use?

If you have an appropriate NVidia card (from GTX650-), you might try ShadowPlay. Very easy to use and works with DAI

You can use raptr to record and maybe origin.

A roundabout way would be to stream to twitch and then get twitch to save it

This is what I use personally.  http://loilo.tv/us/p.../game_recorder

You just execute the program, fire up DAI, and then hit your assigned record hot key to start recording.  You can use movie maker to edit afterwards.

Almost no performance loss using this too which is important.

FRAPS is insanely memory-intensive, and the files it makes are absolutely massive. The only reason that I still use it is that I can't be bothered to replace it.

However, it shouldn't have any issues "recognizing" software. In my experience, it records whatever the screen sees, regardless of what program is running, but it has been most of a year since I recorded anything with it, so maybe I'm forgetting details.

^ Agreed. I used Fraps until I switched to ShadowPlay when I bought my new laptop. It usually works without any problems but the files are huuuuge. Also, if you want to record more than 30 (?) seconds you have to buy it (29.95 €).

Bandicam? It's lightweight and better than than Fraps, imo. It can capture 60fps videos too.

I have the paid version of Fraps and it works great. Yes, the file sizes are quite huge but I just run them through Handbrake from time to time. After that, I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio to do whatever I want with them.

I have the paid version as well. I just don't know, why it doesn't work...

Actually FRAPS doesn't affect my PC, 16GB RAM can handle it very well. Dragon Age Inquisition maxed out here on my PC uses only 5GB RAM. And barely uses 25% of the GPU 2, even my FX-9590 doesn't reach a 100% of usage.

Bandicam. :)

I'm gonna try it, thanks :)
