I tried to connect to the Cerberus Network in my Collector's Edition PC game, but it
was frozen in the 'Please wait...' stage for around a half-hour after
attempting to log into my social account, and so I closed the game.

Instead, I went here to the social site and
to the 'redeem code' section. I typed in my Cerberus Network Card code,
and after finishing it said I had unlocked 'Collector's Armor' instead of Cerberus. I
already have a Collector's Armor code, that I haven't used yet. Did I just lose my Cerberus
Network because the system read my code wrong?

This has been fixed, check your Profile->Registered Game Promotions and you'll find the cerberus stuff. I think they're basically just giving the cerberus network stuff to people who inputted the collector armor code since those people are the ones who have the CE.

I experienced something similar. Whenever I put in my Collector's Armor activation code, it didn't work, telling me it had already been redeemed (it hadn't, not by me anyways). I also had a really long "Please Wait" when trying to login to Cerberus. I then noticed the Cerberus card and activated it. It gave me BOTH access to Cerberus network AND the Collector's Armor. So I think you're ok.

Both of the reported issues have been addressed. You should be cerberus entitled and now able to login.
