if you don't know how dominant AW are then you're the noob, not me.  No archer on the game can match what the AW can do. The AW can solo zone 5!!!  Can you solo zone 5 on perilous with an archer?  I'm not talking about the low level 5 AW. I'm talking about full decked out level 20 AW, they are unstoppable and there is nothing your archer can do to match it.

 

I dare you to say i'm wrong that way everyone here will know you're the noob.

Calm down, everybody knows the AW is borderline. Just take an archer with archer's lance, kill his targets and you'll be quite the smooth operator.

I didn't  say AW couldn't solo perilous you made this thread telling us like we didn't already know. My comment was in regard to you claiming the Archer is bad which is not true a good Archer will outscore an AW most of the time. The fastest way to speedrun perilous is to use 4 Archers but yeah he sucks

touche, he knows what he's doing there, but look at what he needs, regeneration and healing potions, with increased offense and defense potions. I doubt he would be able to do it without using all those potions.  The AW can do all that with little effort and reliance on cocktail of potions.  Then check out his equipment its top of the line.  Good video though I was still impressed.

ranged enemies like the skeletal archers and wraiths that die easily?   AW can easily fade or frost step an entire line of ranged enemies and chop them down with ease, even on perilous. Like I said I have watched AW solo action including all of zone 5.  If you can solo zone 5 on perilous then is there really anything in the game that can stop you?

You have watched or you have done it? Because there's a difference between a top player playing the character and, well, the majority of the player base. I've seen plenty of AW's fall flat.

 

You don't balance a kit based on 5% of the player base.

I don't play as an AW, but I have observed a lot of players being able to dominant with the AW with little to no effort. Like I said the secret is out.

They're definitely op, but in my opinion, boring as heck to play. So whenever i see someone playing one i'm like, more power to ya. Plus having one as a teammate in perilous makes things a ton easier

Very true, in fact I may even piggy back on one to quickly level up.  They don't even mind because they know they don't need anyone else. So I'll just go ahead and pick a level 1, and ride the wave.

When I first started I loved the idea of playing as an archer. I like the idea of using a bow and I wanted to get into that character. Well in this game they are useless, they can really only focus on one enemy at a time, weak dps and cannot take any hits.  You'll be sitting back like a sucker trying to snipe when the AW is clearing out massive mobs of enemies.

As much as I hate the typical AW pug, I cant say the AW is OP.  

 

After watching the templar wombo combo, to seeing my katari hit 3k-4k each to 7 different enemies in 1 hit along with his constant ability to knockdown, to my assassin dropping DC in 3 seconds/venatori commander in 1, to seeing archers spam the living hell outa longshot ftw, to the ele with lolbarrier and lolfirewall, I honestly cant say AW is OP.

 

Each character has a designated role, and he just happens to be the solo/crutch character.  Anything an AW can do, another class does better, except solo.  

 

 

Also note, if you are a melee based AW and you have the threat reduction perk, **** you.

Look what I meant by that is by the time you pull off your most effective moves, the AW already went on a 10 kill streak.  So while you can often OHK an enemy you can't spam it enough against crowds to compete with an AW. You'll be lucky if there's still any action going on by the time you catch up with the AW on the next area.

This one hasnt used upgraded longshot yet, and hasnt realized the archer can have the shortest cooldown times of all charcters.

that right there shows you havent done it. I have upgraded longshot and used full draw. Played as both archer and hunter.  I didnt have all the equipment that the guy in the youtube video had, but most players don't.  It's cute that you think those attacks can compete with an AW

I can keep up with AWs with an Archer. Have you ever heard of Trepanner's?

CDR ammy is overkill on an archer.  Opportunity knocks is way more than enough reduction.

Great then just agree with me instead of all the mumbo jumbo.  Bioware needs to make an adjustment bottom line.

I'm not a fan of nerfs in general, but I do agree that he's a bit over the top. I mean, I suck at this and I solo'd routine with him at level 3. Let me say that again; LEVEL 3.
