Cerberus activation issue- opposite of the other one (EA account different from this one)

Is there anyway to link this account to my xbox live account, I did not see that it has to be the same email address, cause i figured there would be a way to link the two....and I used my code so not armor and what not for me unless someone can help..

same here as well, i input the redeem code here, and got asked for it again ingame, which of course resulted in an error... so stupid... and i am a pc user

Yup, it seems both 360 and PC users are being screwed. I have been gaming for 20+ years and have never ever come accross an issue like this, very frustrating from such a reputable gaming name like EA.

I really hope someone takes notice of this... From what I can tell no mods have tried contacting BioWare/EA, or at least they haven't told us if they have.

I'm still waiting for a reply to my email I sent to EA over 24 hours ago. I found their support number and I'm giving that a try.

Go here.. sign in on main account- http://support.ea.com/
Select 'Email us'

Explain what you did. I used this..
Hi, I mistakenly created a new account for my Mass Effect 2-Cerberus Network code redeeming.
The main game registration is on this account, along with my DLC's.
May I link the two accounts together?

Main acct: sign on / email
Mistake acct: sign on / email

DoB:
Zip:
CC payment info they want (if applicable)

Wait 24 hrs.
Then check your DLC info on..
http://social.bioware.com/
go to Profile > Your Registered game promotions.
You should see all your DLCs listed / consolidated.
Check the other account, just incase.

Open the game, go to options, turn off the Online Auto login.
Restart game.
This will prompt you for the email to login again.
Use the account with all the DLCs on it.
Tada!

I sent EA an email two days ago. Still no reply and I'm getting really frustrated. I might end up just calling them today because I'm sick of this crap.

Well I called as they opened their phone lines today at 9 am Central and waited 23 minutes to talk to someone. I informed her of the situation and gave her my gamertag and ea account and she put me on hold for 5 or so minutes. She came back and said all is well. I'm at work so I can't test it out but gamertag now shows up on my ea account so thats a good sign. I'll post again after I try it at home.

Loaded up EA live chat and found an agent, in less than a minute I kid you not! Im still speachless. EA account linked and problem fixed in minutes! Now to finally play some ME 2. I'll keep my fingers crossed that everything is good to go!!! Thanks Rick at EA!!!
