I have been playing multiplayer for about 20 hours now and have opened dozens if not hundreds of chests but I have yet to receive a single belt, amulet, or ring.
Is this normal or do I have the worst RNG ever?

It's RNG for you.
I do doubt you have opened hundres of chests with only twenty hours played though. Best bet you'd be able to accumulate about 4K an hour if you played only perillous and was boosted there constantly by friends, but that wouldn't bring you quite near 100 chests.
Unless of course you purchased alot of plat, if that is the case then I salute you kind sir.

This is what i'd think. I know RNG is RNG, but accessories seem to be a low drop. Probably something to do with their being so little of them compared to everything else.

Worst chest and loot system possiblt. One of the biggest drains on the game.
