3) Partly for the lore reasons mentioned above and partly for tech reasons. MP characters are optimized in many ways for memory and network performance reasons. Allowing for the millions of tweak able attributes of the Inquisitor in MP was just not in the cards for this game.
Homie,
I truly truly appreciate the dedication.
Enjoy your family to the fullest!

I am glad they took non custom models into mp, I could perhaps see having male and female models of each character, but adding custom made faces risks heavily pulling an AC:Unity bugfest of horrifying proportions.

#2: I think four quickslots is the right amount. Many kits have overlapping skills, so the devs have to find a careful balance between giving you variety and still making each ability you choose matter. Each build is unique and interesting. I do not think it has to do with console ports, honestly. It's the same reason that we are capped at level 20 for each class.
2) The choice of limiting abilities to 4 has nothing to do with console control parity, rather it is a conscious choice to encourage each player to choose their abilities and contribution to the party more carefully.
Wow... I am happy when I get something right! ![]()

Yeah, we were wondering where you were for our after-party live stream. Now is all makes sense... you went to a Spice Girls concert!

I was actually lurking while working during the first 30 mins of the drinking game, but I got called away to attend ... something ... I will definitely be there next time though.
No worries. Work comes first!
It was amusing. Next week should be more fun!

Here's a question....
Why can I never find a game, and get dumped into a lobby on my own whenever I try to play outside "regular" hours in Europe if the matchmaking isn't region locked?
Does this mean there are no available lobbies anywhere in the world?

O'Kay, O'Kay, O'Kay!..
Developers can avoid question #1 and partially question #3.
But what about question #2?..
And do not say: "Adding +4 skills into panel of the PC-game is 'too hard task'".
I'm not a programmer, but every schoolboy in the World knows that it is not hard to do.

Why am I not at home playing DAMP...
Because family.
I had to SIT through a video of my niece's elementary school dance. OMG the horror. And she was sitting there with me... I HAD to be nice. I had to. I DID have words with the IDIOTS who though that having ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AGE KIDS sing 'What a Feeling' from 'Flashdance' was a good idea...
Thank GOD none of them had water bottles...
I did not hit anyone. I did not. I thought my sister was gonna hit the roof in the video. She surprised me. She learned some self control.
Even 'Footloose' wouldn't have been so bad despite the fact that 3/4 of my niece's class couldn't dance if their lives depended on it.

Seems obvious to me: the developers could have added 8 skills, but choose not to for game-design purposes. MP != SP after all...

I tried several "disincentives" to encourage a little boy drop his obsession for Britney Spears, but his fandom just got more ferocious. I'm clueless what makes little kids fall for for it.

1. I presume they considered just carrying over the UI, but considering how much more important positioning is in the multiplayer, it's much more useful to know where your teammates are. Reducing the amount of clutter on your screen is a good thing to keep things clearer. Furthermore, since you can't really "do anything" about your teammates' health, since there's no direct healing in the game, what's the point? In the single player, you can switch to NPCs to heal, or pause the game and cast spells more carefully if they're near death. Neither of these apply, so there's no need to take up valuable screen space.
While I agree with this, one thing regarding player status I would really love, would be a notice when someone gets downed.
I STILL sometimes just miss the fact someone got knocked out, & yet I could have easily revivied him/her. When I'm busy throwing & shooting & dodging while a downed teamate slowly makes its way to my right, with no enemiesaround but slightly out of my FOV, and dies the moment I finally happen to turn around, I would really appreciate a small on-screen message. Really would.
#3: Oh this is silly. The multiplayer is meant to fit into the story of single-player. The lore is that these are unknown specialists working behind the scenes at the behest of the Inquisitor and his council. They are actual characters with a bit of back story, and are actually woven into War Table missions and lore. In fact, you can see them in Skyhold as well. What you are asking BioWare to do is change a bunch of character lore and War Table missions plus remove character models from Skyhold just to satisfy you wanting a female this or a male that.
This.
In one mission, Leliana sent an arcane specialist by the name of Rion (Elementalist); the other time she sent a team lead by one Thornton (Hunter) to scout out dark spawn at the Stormcoast. The Keeper (exact facial tatoo, hair and outfit) regularly hangs around in the Skyhold Gardens.

Belinda often gets a mention too when doing some of the more chantry associated missions with mages and Templars. So it isn't as if they aren't integrated into the sp campaign, its just that they aren't as involved, nor do they end up having the same effect as EMS from ME3.

And Tamar regularly wrecks house like a tornado when sent to eliminate targets.
Well, that was before Rampage got nerfed. Now she acts like a sneaky ninja, silently ripping enemies apart with Dragon-Rage. Silently, I say!

Yeah, this happens to me, as well. At first, I thought it was just the host leaving as I was entering the lobby instead of magically creating an empty lobby. If i wanted to make my own game, I would've made my own game. There's a reason I don't host, and it's for the benefit of other players.

The weird thing is, I've had it tell me that there were no games available before, so being dropped into an empty lobby is absurd.

From what I've seen, vocal PC gamers always have an incredibly bloated sense of entitlement about what they think they deserve. I know it's far from everyone, but it's the loud ones that stand out, you know? Placing the blame on the devs is 100% the wrong way to go about it.
For example, Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend (A 2D fighting game) recently got ported to PC. Every frame of the characters' animations are hand drawn and look great. The voice acting is quite good overall. And the netcode, holy heck, ASW games have phenomenal netcode; there are times where our internet is acting up and I can't even CONNECT to friends in other games, yet we have lag free Blazblue matches because their netcode is so solid. For a fighting game, it's very solid and I'd reccomend it to almost anyone looking for a fighting game. Yet every PC gamer I know who's played the game so far has complained about the graphics, voices, and netcode. Uh, what? I know for a fact they didn't butcher the port, so what the heck were they expecting!? The one thing that I think they fully have the right to complain about is that it's not the newest game in the series so it's already outdated. And that gets glossed over to complain about everything else?
Point being, the fault doesn't lie with Bioware at all. People need to stop acting so entitled.

Weird, because I could have sworn I heard some Britts talking over the mic in a couple of matches I have been in and I play from Pennsylvania, USA. Unless they are DAMPing it up in the New England area...
