This is pretty dragging the thread and quite off-topic but I'd just like to say that artist has responsibility, especially if the art is commercial and it has lot of users and some of users are young.

And now lets return to romance DLC talk. Which likely isn't going to happen since there already is 8 LI's ^^;

Yep. I think the problem with having only Blackwall and Iron Bull would be that many players might not be comfortable with idea of BDSM and Blackwall's lying about who he is and being mercenary who has murdered children can be too much for them. I'd say Cullen is safest choice as LI for straight female characters.

Well, Cullen's an addict. I can see that being a deal-breaker for female players who have/had rl boyfriends with the same problem.

That's true, I didn't think about that.

Hmm, I guess every LI for straight female Inquisitor has some dark side that can be dealbreaker XD

There was a thread here about this very problem. Pretty much all the romances for straight women end in some tragedy, have a dark side or a troubled past. Or so the thread said. ;)

No it must be based on morality. Have you heard about critism that 50 shades of grey has got. It's critism straight about morality.

I'm social science student and different art forms are used in my studies a lot. But art was used a lot during my highschool days as well since art usually says a lot about it's artists and world it's artists lives in.

Unless you can prove the existence of objective moral values , determine their nature and then prove that what you determined as their nature is indeed correct, any moral criticism is inherently bullshit.

If you want to do that, go ahead.

Prove the existence of objective moral values.

I'll be waiting.

I think that's kind of true across the board, though.

Sera - criminal underground; overall annoying person

Dorian - former slave owner; haughty, pompous, and vain

Cassandra - devoutly religious (I've seen some call her a fanatic)

You could probably make that argument about anyone in the game, to be honest.  And I'm okay with that.

Declaration of human rights.

Law.

Goodbye :)

I'd rather have a dlc that added 3 more skill trees to each class

True.

For some reason people just don't seem to have as much problem with dark sides of these characters.

Declaration of human rights.

Law.

Goodbye :)

I said objective moral values. Laws are based on the subjective interests of each particular society, or  usually on the interests of those with power in each particular society. So, no, that wasn't an argument.

What's lawful isn't moral, unless you want to argue that stoning a woman for having an abortion is morally right depending on where you live. And then suddenly, if she lived some kilometers away, it stops being morally right. "Objective" moral values. Nope.

You get an F, you're free to try again.

Oh Panda I do love your style keep it up.

I forsee Harding will get the Samara LI treatment I mean they have laid the groundwork now all we need is a Citadel DLC called SkyHold were we can wake up next to our little ball of Murder.

A law isn't proof of objective morality. Laws are written by us to enforce our own subjective opinions of right and wrong.

Lol I'm not playing :)

To stay on topic, I'd like LI for lesbian Inquisitor. Could be bi/pan or lesbian. Scout Harding is probaply best for this, she's very different from Josie and Sera which would be plus.

Still I don't think it will happen. Would be nice though.

I play games as heavens intended it sing for me, straight male. I would like a straight male only DLC pack because straight male charactres only have Cassandra. About 3 more would be fine; elf, dwarf and qunari females available only to straight males of the same race.

Sounds boring. I prefer romancing LI's with different races than they are. One reason why I'm not really into romancing Solas.

To me it is a glorious idea. The further from  interracial villainy the better! Same race romances allow to explore depths lore of races, bring/flesh out customs. I do not support tainting blood, especially in the case of elvhes.

I think interracial romances have more potential to bring out lore and customs more since their customs are possibly different, depending where they were raised. I think differences would bring them out more than similarity.

Only general customs. The same races would accent differences between clans, cities or countries within the ramification of similar culture. Not to mention it would allow for many to skip amorous interactions with lesser races.

Same race could show small differences but different races big differences. I don't think BW would really go into small differences between dalish clans or qunari mercenary groups. Also having LI only for one race would feel really limiting to players, at least it feels that for me with Solas. So I'd prefer race-gates not existing, it's hard to make them justifications in story as well.

That depends. Don't forget that often, our pcs are outsiders. A non-qun qunari romancing a full blown follower of the qun would be a very interesting, if not very bloody spectacle.

True. City and dalish elf have potential as well, maybe surface dwarf and "normal" dwarf too :)

Still, I don't see reason to race-gate romances if it's not purely time and animation issues.
