I am playing a noble dwarf orgin. If you have the Blood dragon armor enabled you will lose this armor after they strip you of everything you have in the noble dwarf orgin. Very frustrated consider i put 5 hours in until i realized that the game stole my armor. I have found a fix of relief, and it's simple.

1.Save your game in the hero's camp.
2. Reload dragon age.
3. Click on downloadable content.
4. Disable Blood Dragon Armor
5.Load your saved game. It will pop up a warning message. Click force the load.
6. Once inside save your game again. Reload dragon age.
7.Go to downloadable content again, and enable it.
8. And reload your game with the Dragon Blood Armor enabled.

You will see it in your inventory again. Thank the Maker!

this method works for most of the items. However, all of my DDE items from steam, which were in my characters possession at the start of the game, do not return with this method.



Damn Dwarf origin story taking my items!

did you check the merchant at your base-camp? said items might be there...

This is definitely a bug that got through - I believe it was addressed on consoles but didn't make its way back to PC. We'll get this addressed in an upcoming patch.



All other origins where you get items removed, you are able to reclaim those later on. This will only affect Dwarf Noble.

I Don't suppose you know if we'll have to restart to make use of this bug fix or if existing chars will get theirs back. I'm not planning on going any further than the first camp before my Joining, but am wondering. Any Idea when that patch might be released would be great too. TYVM!

I have lost the chest piece for the Blood Dragon Armor - the dwarf merchant still has all the other pieces. When I disable the DLC it all vanishes, but nothing comes back when I re-enable the DLC, not even the items in the dwarf's shop inventory!



Really frustrated with this - any suggestions very welcome! Thanks.

I have the same problem with a human noble character. I lost the chest piece of my Blood Dragon Armor somewhere along the Arl of Redcliffe/Urn of Sacred Ashes quests. Or maybe it was in camp while ... ahem, you know... with Alistair. The fix does not work for me either. It only results in the other pieces of the set vanishing from Bodhan's inventory as well!



Has anyone found an alternative fix yet?

Edit: Soldier's Peak has disappeared from my map too!

Edit: Never mind. Fixed Soldier's Peak in the developers'console and found out elsewhere that the fix for the Blood Dragon armor doesn't work with patch 1.03.

How difficult can it be to write a patch that re-adds the friggin armor to the character's inventory???

sorry, but it is just stupid making free dlc so difficult to deal with. If it is not eternities until the authorisation lets me play, things disappear.

It seems playing a Dwarf is the most talked about way of losing the body piece. However, I have yet to play a Dwarf. I've played a Human Noble and Mage origins and the body armor vanished on me in both scenarios.

Hmm it seems I lost my dragon armor as well, all of it, was trying to get allistar to wear this when he got his strength at 38, finally got that far, about level 14. the dwarfs was the last city I went to and there I noticed it was missing, might have been missing for a while, I am sure that I didn't drop it somewhere.



Anything close to a fix for this? I am trying enabling and disabling the downloadable content, but that is not doing much.

My blood dragon armour disappeared from Sten´s body at the end of the game (after the dwarfen city that was the last that I visited).

This will create major problems in my gameplay since I discarded a lot of armours (I had a better one and needed the money). I simply do not have another armour for Sten.

The trick of disabling and enabling didn´t work.

I recomend NOT buying any premium content untill this bug is fixed.

I was thinking about begining the game again, but buying Dragon´s peak, and decided not to since it may disappear in the midle of the game.

And I am playing with an elven mage, so, the problem is not only dwarfen.

If the game was not so good I might simply quit now.

I'm playing a human noble and all 4 pieces disappeared when I reloaded in the Circle of Mages' tower after s nights sleep. I was simply finishing up a couple of the side quests before heading to D for the Landsmeet. It's happened before and I noticed it quickly. This time I didn't and saved over my most recent save. Since the only fix I've found to work is to reload an older game. I'm pretty ticked because I'll have to replay about an hour of game play. It's too bad bioware and EA can't be bothered fixing the problem.

I bought the game last weekend and am REALLY ENJOYING IT I had romance with Morrigan and I just need to do Ozzamar and I realised that my blood dragon body is gone and my last save with it is WAY back is there what all do we need to do to fix it in simple terms lol im thick (plus console is not working for me?)

I'm playing a Dalish Elf warrior and my OS is Windows 7
