so, the bedroom...

not sure what i'm asking here, but maybe more decorating options? Trophies/collections? cutscene opportunities?  summoning characters to my room ala ME3? rendezvous with your LI as you like?

I'm just saying it's a huge and pretty space and I'd like for the game to invite me up to it more often

Yeah but all the way up there ? I rather have a storage right next to Varric then up there . 

 

But a Mirror to change your Look there would be nice . And I would love more decoration or to have your Li show there once the romance is locked in .

I would not mind my Inquisitor waking up there after she has been out on the road. Would also not mind a pass out or wake up scene after having spent the night drinking with Bull.

Besides it is a great place for chests and you need them when you first get back to Skyhaven.

well my game doesnt load forever , but I think about all those who say the loading take forever for them . Thats why the Storage in the Hall..or somewhere where they dont have to get trough a Loading Screen would be best .

it would be nice to have SOME reason to go up there. I wouldn't be opposed to having my LI or ANYone visit me there at this point. I mean all those books and this dope chill couch and a fireplace and a majestic view and the only time i see it is...what 3 times officially in game? i'd just like more from it.

When they patch in better casual/formal clothes and the ability to go back into CC to tweak things, they should be available in your room. I do wish it wasn't a seperate "instance" to the rest of the castle.

 

(Also has anyone else seen the Serault windows? SO PRETTY).

+1 OP, agree that this would make the game better. Maybe in a future DLC

Ahhh....Skyhold. You're almost a metaphor for the game itself. Enormously big, but just not enough worthwhile content to fill it.

Honestly, I prefer smaller home bases. Having to do the 100 yard dash just to get from one person or thing to another gets tiresome.

And as much as the undercroft is a pretty set piece, I'd rather have my crafting equipment in that armory building next to Cassandra. Closer to the spawn point and no loading screen to wait through.

i'm not saying someone goes up there with you. I'm saying it being a cutscene in game. 3 times I remember are with your LI, when you have that convo with Josie because that happens regardless...unless you choose not to have her vent, after you talk to Solas in the Fade(friend or not)...and oh the end game scene. so maybe 4. but otherwise that place gets zero use.

i'd have especially loved some fireside chats with my companions and to see Skyhold with that view at NIGHT. that would be something.

The Inquisitor and Dorian do go there to make out, but I agree it's mostly just wasted space.

I like the idea of having the character creator and storage chest up there. Inconvenient enough to discourage abuse, but also reason enough for people to go up there semi-regularly.

Yeah, but I stopped this practice as doing so often either froze my game or gave longer load times than I feel I should have to sit through just to move around my own base. It wasn't exactly a time saver. I can fast-travel through any area map in the game more quickly than I can in skyhold for some reason.
