Hello, I am unable to import my save files from ME1 because I can't run the configuration utility. About 2/5 of the way through the load bar for the configuration utility, vista tells me that it's stopped working and closes it.

In fact, I had this problem with both ME1 and Dragon Age, with the same error happening in the exact same way with their configuration utilities. However, it didn't matter with those 2 games because I didn't need to use the configuration utility for anything, and could simply go around it by directly running the executable file (which I can do with ME2 as well, but unfortunately without my imported ME1 characters).

So, if anyone knows how to fix this problem, or if there's just another way to import ME1 characters, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 1, 32-bit

Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS graphics card

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz processor

3 GB of RAM

Same problem, different OS, same work around in previous games. Never have been able to run a Bioware Config with my quad core and 8800 system.
